Pretty simple. Rate the last movie you have just seen for the first time out of 10. However, don't give any actual spoilers. Just explain why you gave it the rating you did.
I'll go first:
Edge of Tomorrow
8.5 out of 10 - The headlining cast is phenomenal, and it reminded me of Source Code in a way. Definitely a thrilling action film. I recommend it if you're into that kind of stuff.

The Amazing Spider-man 2
9/10- Being a comicbook nerd, I was very happy it stuck with the comicbook through out the movie (most of it anyway). Plus this movie was so much better then the 2002 Spider-man movies. The only thing I thought didn't work was all the useless drama between Peter and Gwen. Yup. ♥

Big Hero 6
9/10 it was a spectacular movie, great for anyone in my opinion, had some laughs and action, solid animation, just great. Had a bit of problem with character development but hardly noticeable

The Equalizer
7 out of 10, I love action movies and Denzel Washington is one of my favorite characters but there isn't much character development in the movie aside from his character and the main villain. However, I have no regrets going to the theatre to watch this movie. Denzel completely stole the show and his way of killing gets extra points in my book, I'd probably recommend the movie as a 1st or 2nd watch.

The Babadook
7 out of 10 - Not as good as I was HOPING, but still a really solid scary movie. I enjoyed the realism of the mother's decent into madness as it was a lot more well-done than even Jack Nicholson's character in The Shining. The Babadook creature itself was very creepy and the unique, though slightly disappointing, was at least unique. Overall, I enjoyed it.

WARNING: Long info.
X-Men: Days of Future Past
8.5/10. This X-Men movie featured most of the members of the group, from Bishop, to Storm, to Kitty Pride, to Sunspot, to Iceman, etc, and the directors made their cameo appearances very special. I was surprised that Charles Xavier, in the past, turns out to be a druggy, because he clearly stated that he will forever be "clean" (XM: First Class). Also, the movie is kind of bizarre in some ways, the fact that Wolverine, in the future, had to go back in time to stop Mystique from killing a professor who invented Sentinels to go and kill all Mutants was ridiculous, because Kitty Pryde could have done this with her time-travel powers, but we can understand why. This movie made me realize that Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique/Raven isn't suitable to fit the job, unlike Rebecca Romijn who played the best seductive and ass-kicking version in the first three X-Men movies. They finally revealed that Quicksilver became Magneto's son, which means that in their next movie, Quick and Mag are going to have a huge role together, which it's gonna be awesome. What I found much more interesting was when Mystique was about to shoot the Professor, until Charles Xavier went inside her head to convince her to stop. Then were scenes of the Sentinels who went to find Charles Xavier and the rest of the X-Men in a monastery in China/Japan, and they were about to kill them all. One by one, Storm died, Bishop died, Iceman died, Sunspot died, Rogue died, Colossus died, Blink died and Warpath died. I was about to be in awe when the Sentinels reached to Old Charles Xavier and Old Magneto, alongside Kitty Pryde who was still sending Wolverine back to the past. As Mystique was still about to shoot, the Sentinels opened their mouths, releasing lights of fire. Mystique then drops the gun, signalling that Sentinels no longer existed, and the Future was saved.
The GOAT part of the whole movie was that when Wolverine woke up to the Academy, and saw everyone alive together, Jean Grey resurrected. Even though Famke Janssen may be aged, she looked badass and hot in her all red attire. In short, it was really one of the best movies of the year.

Guardians of the Galaxy (ye I haven't seen a movie in awhile)
9/10 - This was probably my favorite superhero movie in awhile. It still had all of the problems that I have with these movies like an annoying and corny villain, repetitive spaceship infiltration scenes, etc. but since it was basically making a joke out of all those things it worked a lot better. Like the scene where the raccoon comes crashing through the huge window on the deck of the bad guy's spaceship it was like finally someone actually thought of doing that. My only issue was I didn't really care about the characters when it looked like they were gonna die and it seemed like the movie expected you would.

Ted 2 - 8.5/10. It told a lot more story than the original Ted. It was a little dragged on but I guess that comes with the story-telling

Inside Out: 9/10, probably the best Pixar movie made. Up was amazing, but had some filler parts that could have been left out. Inside Out nailed pretty much every scene into major plot and still stayed very funny and emotional. Even the animated short before it "Lava" was the best they've done.

50 Shades of Gray
0/10
The version I watched was the filipino bootleg version where the government cut out all of the sex scenes. Therefore it was fucking awful. I literally had to go to pornhub to use a sex scene compilation and watch it along side the movie.

Nightingale (2014)
8/10
The movie is about a lonely war veteran psychologically unraveling ahead of an old friend's impending visit. The thing is that the main guy has schizophrenia, which is having a breakdown that causes mental, emotional and behavioral issues. At the beginning, it takes a kinda long, draggy time to get to the main point of the movie, but when the climax emerges, the main guy is unraveling, smashing things, doing whatever the hell that he wants. He even kills his own mother as well. The movie is just that epic.

Jurassic World
Let me just say that this was my second favorite movie of all that have been made so far, right after the first one. I loved Chris Pratt and his acting and the leading actress also did her part well. I think they did well to show the diversity of the dinosaurs this time, instead of just the same T-REX. The new dinosaur was absolutely crazy to see and added a new dimension to the movie. The two kids served their part but most people could have fit that part. All in all, the ending with the raptors 'bros, the trex 'save' and the final death was superb. I hope for a sequel of this movie itself.

A lot of people are saying this movie ruined the franchise and that Emilia was a mediocre Sarah Connor and to those critics I say this: BITE ME.

Duck Soup.
It's lauded as the Marx Brothers best movie, and in scale and insanity it probably is, but I prefer "A Night at the Opera" to it, or even "A Day at the Races" simply because I think there are more notable sight gags, puns, and slapstick in them that goes over more fluidly than in "Duck Soup". That being said, "Duck Soup" is still pretty hilarious. Chico on the stand is pretty funny, and the mirror scene is pretty epic. No Chico on the piano shooting keys though, or Harpo on the harp, so 8/10

Mission Impossible: Rouge Nation
9.5/10
Fantastic movie, lots of good action and light hearted moments, interesting villain (which is the one thing where the MI movies tend to fall short, IMO), great stuntwork by Tom Cruise (seriously, that guy has balls of steel).
Only downside of my viewing experience was that the theatre was packed (at matinee times) and my father and I had to sit in the very front rows.

Get Hard (8.5/10)
Epic, hilarious, adventurous. Plus Kevin Hart and Will Ferrel got the greatest chemistry ever.
