You can't really think that they stand a chance in a war against US. Yes they have beheaded Americans but its pretty much what you expect when people travel to middle east in the midst of conflict and war.

The biggest threat these people do is to the reputation of Islam. Along with negative depictions of Arab nations in media this only furthers the persecution of Muslims in the United States and worldwide. When Americans believe Islam is a religion of violence and terror screwed up kids are going to rebel and actually become one and join groups like ISIS because they are too weak to be a good example and fight back in a non-violent manner. That's not an insult because they shouldn't be expected to deal with that shit in a country where religion is supposed to be free.

Honestly though, they're doing their shit in a defenseless country that was always going to cop this stuff when countries started pulling out. They're not that powerful really and it shows that just air strikes alone can stop their movement. The only issue there is are the idiots too easily caught up in the garbage they post. Their recruitment is an issue but it isn't going to help them much. Any terror cells can be wiped out easily by federal police and has been in recent weeks. I feel more for the Muslim communities that are constantly being compared to ISIS in media outlets. I've got friends who were born into Muslim families and they've copped it from ignorant fucks on the streets.
