The Sanatorium continue down the road of chasing gold and glory. They begin to use Caine as their weapon to take people out all vainly in the name of his gods. Over time there starts to be cracks in his character. He starts asking if this is really what he was supposed to be doing. The man behind Caine starts to come out a little here and there. One day they start beating on a beloved world champion after his match, and Caine is with them but not participating. Eclipse pushes him and tells him to attack that champion who is on the floor. Caine instead turns to Eclipse grabs him by the neck and throws him out of the ring. He and the champion clear the ring of the others and following this, Caine continues to slowly show more humanity while dealing with the fact that this is also not what his higher power has called him to do.

After weeks of being passive agressivly insult by his tag partner Mike Showman, Jon McAdams finally stands up to him.  Showman tries to back down and smooth things over with a nice classy hand shake which Jon accepts. Showman sucker punches McAdams, but Jon expecting that Showman would try something underhanded blocks it, and lands the quarter roll punch that leaves Mike out cold.

this leads to a money on the mind ladder match which Jon wins and proceeds to shower the crowd with the collective ante that both men put up.

Solomon Caine becomes a nice, God preaching pastor to everyone in the ring (which of course means a Pastor William Eaver rep)
