A) Be in the headlining match in the majority of FPVs for a year
B) Reign as a World Champion for a year with no FPV headlining matches

B, because A is a travesty of justice that undermines being world champion in the first place.

Never answered my own thread, but probably B. When you have three World Champions and (hopefully) a thriving women's division, sometimes you don't get the headlining match. Objectively, chances are B is going to be Elitist or Extremist of the Year due to an unblemished body of work over a year's span, while A will simply get the glitz and glam. Fuck a headliner if I can get the EOTY.

I don't think I have much choice in answering this one...



But I'll answer it.

B should be what people strive for. A long reign, a healthy reign, one that has multiple successful defenses leaves a longer impact on the minds of everyone. From writers to the audience. Unless your ego is beyond control, simply being World Champion should be enough, not being in the main event and the headline act doesn't make your reign any lesser, doesn't make your time as champion secondary to the other champions or one champion who gets that top spot time and time again. 

Option A is enticing afterwards, when you don't care about length and records and just want those big, attractive and headline matches against the real top tier. Personally, I'd like to stick around long enough for it, but it's nothing that I'm going to beg or demand for.

B. 

Honestly given the two I'd be more interested in working with a belt snd trying to make a good reign, than constantly being put on the headlines and (from what my FPV record shows) fail for 12 consecutive months. just my preference I guess

B. I want to be world champ.

A. I'd choose a good, memorable match that I can remember rather than a forgettable title reign (Based on a true story) lmao

A doesn't mean anything to me. Like World Champions come and go, that half of them you will remember and the other half, you don't, and the reason you remember that first half is because of B. When you get to the status of B, where your role is so important, it trumps even that of the World champion, its a sign that you truly made it among your peers where people want to see you and you are more than someone that holds a belt. It's defining of how far you have come in terms of the community, and if its such a big match that it headlines, then its a match worthy of a writer to invest so much time in to make intriguing rather than "me want world title," its just more special. Like I won't say the World Title is meaningless, as it's the accumulation of hard work and establishing trust in your brand to win it, but I've seen people win it, and just say they are finished and don't aim to be more. Like once you win the title, you should use that win to leverage your role and status, and this is why you ultimately can become the headline without any title, because your influence is so great, whether your are putting someone over, or deciding a feud that has been years in the making. In other words, anyone can be a world champion, but to be in such a grant and unique position, you know that it can only happen with you, and that makes it very special. Like if Battle of the Gods can only be DEDEDE vs Robbie V, I get it. I can't picture anyone else in that place, and with that alone, Robbie and DEDEDE should be proud that that was only possible because of them. You couldn't just substitute another character or someone else, or the impact is meaningless.
