Background: Esmeralda is a traditional hardworking woman who traveled to the United States to expand her cleaning crew services. She is constantly seen cleaning and concerning about Consuela Rose Ava’s wellbeing when it comes to her germaphobic nature. It can be debated that her constantly worrying about Consuela is just her “motherly instincts” taking over her. When Consuela came into Frias and needed some way to pay for her wrestling school, she met her daughter, Francesca, who introduced Consuela to her mother. Not taking the time to get to know Consuela, Esmeralda put a mop in Consuela’s hand and demanded her to mop the entire kitchen of the De La Cruz household. It was there where she began to take the young Ava under her wing and teach her patience, responsibility, and discipline all with cleaning. Mostly, Esmeralda can be seen speaking in Spanish because that’s how she is used to communicating with Consuela and Francesca, but she is not afraid to speak in English and give you a piece of her mind.

Francesca is the young daughter of Esmeralda, who went to the United States with her mother. When she was young, she was always constantly helping her mother around the house. On weekends, she would normally take part of helping her mother cleaning different houses. In order to pay for her education, she decided to join her mother’s cleaning crew along with Consuela. She was the first one to meet Consuela after cleaning her father’s house. Consuela formed a bond with the younger girl. would eventually meet Esmeralda, who put Consuela right to work. Eventually, she learned about Consuela’s aspirations to become a professional wrestler. Constantly, she begged for Consuela to teach her a wrestling move. After months of begging, Consuela taught Francesca to do a superkick. The problem is Francesca can only connect with a superkick out of fear for herself, mother or Consuela. Thus, shocking everyone who had no clue she would be able to do that. Francesca is fluent in Spanish and English. When dealing with her job as a maid, she is obedient and listens to her mother and Consuela.
