Who Stole the Show: At first Nobi had it, but then HBG Took all the momentum with her huge victory!

Rating/General Comments: This show had perfect match pacing and so many crazy things go on such as title changes, storyline conclusions, and even a shocking return. Theron moving on to KOE, John Doe targeting Rex, Triumvirate dying, as capping it all off with the two most deserving champions in EAW today, Nobi and HBG! Congrats to the both of you once again. This is gonna have to be Supershow of the Year with everything that went down and how it all was so fluid. Shoutouts to everyone who participated as a writer or promoer.

Favorite Moment: HBG WINNING HOLY SHIT. Also the death of Triumvirate.

Most Shocking Moment: Either Ares getting DQed or CM Banks returning I can't choose

Who Had the Best/Worst Night: Best - Nobi and HBG. Worst Marx, POP

Who Stole the Show: I gotta say HBG. That match was insane.

Ratings/General Comments: 9/10. The EAW Championship match, even though it was my favorite, did run a tad long imho. Otherwise this show was great. Good pace, plenty of great moments, and nice use of storytelling.

Favorite Match: Main event

Favorite Moment: Nobi winning; sorry HBG, but congrats to both.


Most Shocking Moment/Result: the return of CM Banks, and of course HBG overcoming all odds and winning EAW World.


Who Had the Best/Worst Night: Best: Theron, Nobi, HBG; Worst: those that lost to them three.


Who Stole the Show: HBG vs Ryan Marx vs TJ, great way to close the show! Great match writing and story telling.


Rating/General Comments: 10/10 - fantastic work by everyone involved, one of the best Showdown exclusive supershows - ranking a close second behind "Redemption" from 2015. Great job everyone, give yourselves a good nice pat on the back for a job well done!

Favorite Match: The main event. 

Favorite Moment: HBG and Nobi's victories, easily. 

Most Shocking Moment/Result: Banks returning to get even with Marx, John Doe turning on Rex, TJ all but disavowing Triumvirate and saying he never needed them, Ares and Theron's match ending the way it did. 

Who Had the Best/Worst Night: Best night, HBG, Nobi, and DC. Worst night, TJ, Marx, POP, and Rex. 

Who Stole the Show: HBG and Nobi again, at the risk of sounding like a broken record. 

Rating/General Comments: 10/10. Something I really have to commend this show for was the pacing; everything seemed to flow really nicely. I'm glad that we finally got to see HBG and Nobi notched long-awaited and well-deserved title reigns, and that DC was able to get a measure of revenge over Jay. With KOE on the horizon, Showdown also looks to be in good shape with Theron as their rep in the big match. A fun show from top to bottom, and all of the writers involved did a great job.

Favorite Match: POP vs. Nobi vs. Stark for the NEC

Who Stole the Show: HBG

Rating/General Comments: 9.5/10 - Loved this show and as others said, the pace was great. Nothing ridiculously long for no reason, started at a good time, great writing. I wish HBG would've done more for that last pinfall though. I feel like a "barely got him" splash off the rope or w/e was kinda weak. But nonetheless, great show even if my predictions were off. My favorite Supershow of the year. Looking forward to what's next.

Favorite Match: The Main Event with TJ vs HBG vs Marx. It was an absolutely marvelous match with many twists and turn with a very deserving winner at the end of it. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Favorite Moment: Nobi winning the NEC, could not think of someone more deserving after tirelessly going after glory for so long. I already covered my happiness for HBG getting her moment, Doe and Banks returning to put their stamp was also great.

Shocking Moment: Not so much more shocking but rather, what do I want to see the most envelopment of in the future? That would probably go to John Doe and Rex from now on. The breakdown of Triumvirate and where they go from here will also be something to look forward to.

Best/Worst Night: Best night has to be for Theron, HBG, Nobi. Worst night is definitely for Triumvirate, POP, Marx. 

Who Stole the Show: HBG ending the night she did will be a memory etched into EAW forever so easily her.

Overall Rating w/ General Comments: The show overall was amazing and very well balanced. I thought it covered the edge of every match very well culminating in a series of feuds that I cannot wait to see develop in the near future. They all include some of my favorite characters and promoers in the near future so I thought this show was absolutely perfect in setting all that up. It also holds as a memorable night for some of the most deserving winners I know whilst humbling some of the biggest faces in the EAW history at the same time. It culminated in a show that kept you hype throughout the whole show with all its glory of returns and amazing matches, I rate it really top notch - 10/10.

Favorite Match: The main event. Before it, I kind of really liked the NE Title champ because it ended with the right guy winning, and sometimes the right results can outshine the match itself because it becomes some unforgettable moments.

Favorite Moment: Nobi getting his first title, I know a lot have HBG's win as their favorite moment but I really wanted to see Nobi getting that NE Title. Because the culmination of his 2017 run led up to this win, from unsuccessful title challenges against THR and Stark. 

HBG's win takes a close second as well since it marks probably an unforgettable moment for the rest of EAW's time

Most Shocking Moment/Result: I think seeing John Doe target Rex since he was an ally of McAllister before.

Who Had the Best/Worst Night: Nobi and HBG with the best night. Not a lot of people had bad nights since everyone looked really strong even in defeat.

Who Stole the Show: HBG easily. Nobody had a better week as a promoer then she did.

Rating/General Comments: 10/10.

Favorite Match: The main event EAWC Triple Threat Match. Fantastic writing from Robbie, nobody came out from that looking weak or not seeming like a threat. 

Favorite Moment: I'm torn between HBG or Nobi winning their respective titles. Both were moments of nothing but gratification, both of them truly deserved it, and HBG possibly even more due to creating a moment no one will forget, not for a long time. 

Most Shocking Moment/Result: Honestly, Marx not winning the title shocked me. Banks returning also caught me by surprise, as I felt that he had enough momentum and was deserving of the title just as much as TJ or HBG. Rex not becoming the Showdown Representative was also shocking, I believed wholeheartedly he would win this one but it seems that didn't happen.

Who Had the Best/Worst Night: Best: HBG, Nobi, Theron. Worst: Definitely the Triumvirate.

Who Stole the Show: HBG for making history and creating a night that will be etched forever in the halls of EAW.

Rating/General Comments: 10/10. I wasn't there live in chat to witness the show, so I can't comment much on the pacing, but just from a reading point of view the length of the match and show in general was perfect; nothing was too long or too short when it needed to be. DC vs Jay was a good match, with a brutal finish and finally gave DC the win he deserved. Both the semi-final matches were good, though it kind of shocked me to see Ares being eliminated and disqualifying himself. The NEC triple threat was my second favorite of the night, everyone looked good and the cherry on top was Nobi winning. Theron vs Rex had a great story into it, with Theron's injured leg and John Doe being there to aggravate Rex. The main event was spectacular - so many great counters, moments, and it made everyone look like they could take it at any moment. To top it all of, HBG becoming the first ever female World Champion. Amazing show, I just wish I had been there on chat to see it all unfold.
