Quick Entrance Description: ('Back to School (Mini Maggit)' by Deftones begins to play as the lights go down, and a green spotlight illuminates the stage. Rebecca Sawyer: Introducing first, from North Yorkshire, England, weighing in at 182 lbs....HARVEYYYYYY YORKE!
Detailed Entrance Description: ‘Back to School’ by Deftones hits the arena, while the lights dim, smoke begins to fill the beginning of the ramp. As the lyrics begin, white strobe lights flash in sync with the drums. At the same time, Harvey Yorke appears underneath a green spotlight, dressed in his signature jacket. He stands still, taking in the reaction of the crowd with a look of bewilderment in his eyes. The spotlight turns a bright white, and Yorke gives a look of disgust before walking down the ramp. He pays little to no mind to the fans who display a vocal distaste towards him, and instead, focuses his gaze on the ground. As he approaches the end of the ramp, he lifts his head, greeting the crowd with a snarl. Yorke climbs the top rope, and taunts the crowd with his arms held out at his sides, a bitter look ever present. Finally, he takes off his jacket before setting it aside and crouching in his designated corner.
Wrestling Debut: March 13th, 2012
Disposition: Apathetic heel
Gimmick: Harvey Yorke is on a warpath. After coming up short in attempts at reaching new heights, he has lost control—a virtue he so desperately preached about time and time again. Now, Harvey has seen the light: whether or not he’ll reveal what lead to this new state of mind is unknown. Since retreating from the spotlight, Harvey has become infatuated with the fact that he was robbed of stardom. Delusional and egotistical, he believes himself to be a 'saint,' and has done little wrong; he thinks himself to be the pinnacle.
Harvey is a firm believer of people being as genuine as possible. As such, he recognizes his darkness and corrupt as the 'right' way, because sin is natural and inevitable. What others deem morally corrupt behavior, he sees himself as practicing and spreading the truth. One thing that does remain for certain, however, is Harvey intends to walk the beat of his own drummer—with little to no disregard of whose life he has to destroy in order to create a legacy of his own.
Specialty Match: No disqualification matches - in these matches, Yorke is able to let his true talents shine and inflict maximum amount of damage to his opponents
Least Favorite Match Type: Battle royals - Yorke prefers to work alone and has a mindset where it is ‘every man for himself’. Furthermore, he prefers match types where he can be methodical and focused on playing mind games with a single opponent.
In-Ring Strengths:
- Sadistic: Harvey has made a name for himself because of his controversial style. He enjoys hurting people, and as such, he will often try to manipulate whoever shares the ring with him. If he’s got a weapon in his hand, know that you'll be the next in line to become a bloody mess.
- Durability: Due to his in-ring experience and his restlessness, Harvey can sustain a lot of damage in the ring. His love for hardcore wrestling drives him to go to great lengths to come out the winner in a bout.
- Pride: Harvey believes that his word is the law, whether people see him as a huge threat or not. In his own mind, he is untouchable. As such, he’ll always find ways to make himself to be the bigger man in an argument.
Weapon of Choice: His trusty golden brass knuckles - if they aren’t in his reach, he’ll improvise by wrapping something such as barbed wire to his fists.
