| - Eddie Mack isn't happy. That much is certain. It wasn't that long ago when Eddie Mack was being built as the future of EAW. As the 2012 Cash in the Vault winner, not to mention the respect of the Answers World Champion himself... it looked like Eddie Mack had a bright future ahead of him. It all came crashing down on Eddie though when he unsuccessfully cashed in on Y2Impact on a Dynasty in May 2013. Ever since then Eddie has been struggling to get back on his feet, claiming he's purposely being held down and ignored by the EAW management, fans and peers. Fed up he goes on strike, protesting the actions of EAW. He's approached by Moonlight Predator who says to Eddie that he has no one to blame but himself for the downward spiral that his career has now become. When nothing changes he really decides to take a stand... he quits.
- Norman Hellion has never been stable, but ever since losing the Interwire Championship to Vic Vendetta in an impromptu match during Cash in the Vault at Pain for Pride he has completely gone off the hinges. Norman claims that he's being abused both mentally and physically by "Peter". Vic Vendetta tells Norman that he doesn't want the Interwire Championship, that he isn't EAW for championships... however he also tells Norman that he isn't strong enough for the Interwire Championship, and that he can get it back when he proves he's strong enough. After a number of mental beatdowns at the hands of Vic Vendetta, Norman Hellion finally snaps and attacks Vic Vendetta. After the attack a bloodied Vic grabs a microphone and begins maniacally laughing. "YES!... YES NORMAN, THAT'S WHAT I WANTED! THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO SEE FROM YOU! YOU GOT IT... YOU'VE GOT YOUR MATCH!". Two of the most unpredictable, insane extremists we've ever had are about to clash over the Interwire Championship. It's sure to make for a war.
- "I'm bored... there's only one thing that's going to satisfy me, and we both know what that is"... that one quote from Diamond Cage got under the skin of a lot of people. Diamond Cage has in a sense, given up. He's sick of putting his body on the line week after week and getting nothing in return as a reward. Scheduled to team with Lethal Consequences, there is definite tension between the two but the general belief is, Diamond Cage will fulfill his obligation but the same might not be able to be said for Lethal Consequences. After it is revealed that Cage is the one that left Lethal Consequences to fend for himself, LC gets enraged and decides to take all his anger out on his partner that no showed, sidelining him for a few weeks and in the process taking away Cage's chance of fighting for the Answers World Championship. Cage returns to Showdown with one thought in mind, revenge. Cage certainly isn't bored anymore. He seeks to repay the favor but is quickly stopped by WWEFan who inorms Cage that if he lays even a finger on LC, he will NEVER get a shot at the Answers World Championship. Fan says that Cage is going to have to wait until Midsummer Massacre if he wants to get his hands on LC. LC can't help but to taunt and tease Cage, but it may not be the smartest of ideas. Diamond Cage is a ticking timebomb, an angry Diamond Cage is a stick of dynamite. An infuriated Diamond Cage is something that NOBODY wants to mess with, LC is playing around in dangerous territory. LC has himself convinced that he's in the drivers seat but Cage is foaming at the mouth. We have four days until Midsummer Massacre, and LC still has a few tricks up his sleeve to get Cage to crack.
- Standing at nearly 7 feet tall, the new Answers World Champion Hades the Hellraiser surprisingly has a lot of doubters. Due to the fact that he lost the Answers World Championship in a match at the EAW Draft Show in a decision that was later overturned he finds himself facing an uphill battle. As StarrStan emerges as a possible challenger, he too has many doubters and needs to prove himself just as much as the champion does. Starr is out to prove that Hades is indeed a fake champion and ensures that if given a match, he'll restore order and justice to the Answers World Championship. StarrStan's road to Midsummer Massacre is rather easy after winning a #1 Contenders match by forefeit. Hades takes notice that his challenger is no more proven than he is and begins to attack Starr. Even making reference to the fact that StarrStan now wears a fake gold medal around his neck. "How can you listen to a man who doesn't even have the common desency to respect what he stands for". Hades questions Starr's loyalty to America if he can proudly walk around with a fake gold medal. Starr rebutts that he doesn't need anything to prove he's a real American whereas Hades walks around with an American Flag bandanna and jean jacket, "The typical american biker stereotype". There's a lot of uncertainty amongst the EAW Universe. Many standing on neutral ground as it's hard to pick a side due to the lingering questions that hover above both competitors heads. Despite all that though, both men are out to prove they're right, and with that motivation it should fuel the fire for an epic clash.

| I like this. A lot. The Eddie Mack storyline was good while it lasted, it's a shame we didn't get to see it go further because you were doing a good job with it Scott. |
