| Universally, there's a lot of underage drinking anyway. So it's not gonna make too much of a difference. |

| I don't drink or intend to but as it was set in the 70's, if you're old enough to go to War in subcontinents... you should be old enough to drink. 18 is the right age. You're able to risk your life but yet cant drink what you want until 3 years later? I know they allowed this for a few years during and post Vietnam but then stopped it in a short time... if it were to be lowered, then 18 would would be it. |

| It doesn't even matter.
Most kids have had their first drink by age 15.
Almost every household in the U.S. has some form of alcohol in it.
Beer Distributors don't even check ID's if you go there before noon.
Fake ID's are the wave.
It's almost as easy to get as weed.
So while I think most kids would say yes, they don't REALLY mean it because underage drinking/getting it illegally/taking from your parents is fun. |

| underage drinking is always gonna happen so who gives a fuck what the age is it's not even relevant anymore because everyone knows someone who is 18+ (in my case) who buy it from them or their parents allow them |

| Yes to 18, I really don't see big deal out of kids drinking at this age. A lot college students 18,19, 20 constantly drink so why hide it? |

| Making it 18 would just make it easier to get it |

| There are a fuck ton of things a lot worse than alcohol that you can get at eighteen. Hell, even if you are legal to drink, that fact stands. I'd rather see teenagers drinking over shooting up.
Besides, you see teens drinking around the house because their parents don't really care as long as the kids aren't out getting into shit. Not letting someone do something will only make them want to do it that much more. |
