An infamous moniker given to Ares by anyone who's watched him compete within a ring. Despite all of his natural athleticism and prestige to his name, Ares took it upon himself to excessively beat opponents in the most torturous ways he could think of. His violence in the ring became more of a detriment than anything as one night he decided to sport steel-toe boots and once it became clear what was going on, Ares was immediately disqualified from the bout. Regardless, Ares continued the assault on his opponent before cruelly punting the damaged man across the skull with the steel-toe boots; effectively getting Ares suspended and the name "The Black Vulture" to go along with his preying on weakened opposition, his agility and aerial maneuvers being likened to that of a bird, his perching on the top turnbuckle like a bird before delivering the Meteora, and his affinity for wearing black.
Many considered young Ares' father to be a true King in the West in professional wrestling (Having won the prestigious King of Extreme Tournament twice), thus labeling him as a Prince, but no ordinary one by any means. Ares proved time and time again that he was far more suicidal in battle than any man who competed against him. Ares fought with nothing but the intent of destroying his adversaries, even if it meant taking his own life to do so. More and more who became witness to his dangerous tactics in the ring began labeling him not only a Prince, but "The Kamikaze Prince".[/center]
The Vendetta clan has long-since become infamous for their dirty dealings; likening them to an underworld organization such as the mafia or yakuza and Robbie V/Mikado Sekaiichi as its "Don". With Robbie's absence, more and more have been proclaiming Ares as "The New Don"; a play on the term "New Dawn" as in the dawn of a new day.
Having been raised in Japan for the majority of his life, Ares became most associated with Puroresu/Strong Style, which involves wrestling a more legitimate way of fighting with fewer theatrics. Ares grew a fascination with Strong Style and used exploited it to torment his opponents, even going as far as ending the career of a colleague that rendered him essentially blacklisted from the mainstream wrestling circuit in Japan. However, in a company more lenient towards a style like puroresu with its extreme roots, Ares continues to use it as his primary style, while also incorporating many highflying lucha libre maneuvers as well. However, since suffering various injury scares with his highflying risk taking, he's since dialed it back and focused more on puroresu and technical wrestling.
In a mere two and a half years, Ares Vendetta has surpassed even his own father’s ambitions as he became the longest reigning World Champion in EAW history and even winning in the main event of Pain For Pride. However, none of this has brought Ares any sense of satisfaction. His desire for gold and other achievements have long since become guises for his true intentions of doing harm to those that he believes have wronged him. With the loss of his Answers World Championship and a broken arm to go along with it, Ares has sunk deeper into depravity - betraying his allies in Rook and Bishop, as well as abandoning the God of Vengeance he proudly worshipped, Onryo. Just as well, his own father, Robbie V, proved to be a nuisance when it became clear that they would never dominate EAW side by side as Ares had hoped during his initial crusade to pursue those that wronged Robbie. Like most things in his life, they served no more to him than a means of entertainment until he grew bored and moved on to the next chapter in his sadistic saga in the form of his new ally, Jaywalker. Kindred spirits of sorts, Ares and Jaywalker have come to respect one another’s immoral means of doing business that the rest of those within Elite Answers Wrestling have come to individually loathe them for. The two men clashed with one another following their failed pursuit to end Robbie V permanently, to the point of an inevitable match. Ares came to see Jaywalker as an asset over a liability, and Jaywalker thought the same of Ares, as the two men formed an alliance and have since pursued any and everyone that falls within their path of vengeance - not for a God or gold, but for the sheer sake of doing harm to those that have wronged them.
