| Over the past few weeks, I've been thinking about my time E-fedding and what I wanted to accomplish. I remember what got me hooked onto it and how much I enjoy reading the shows, even if i'm not on the show. Idk if I just ....quit? I mean it's just frustrating as fuck knowing that I've been e-fedding for 6 years and haven't won a single title. I'm tired of hearing how good of an RPer I am, how creative I am, but having nothing to show for it. All the while the newcomers are winning championships. I'm obviously not talking about just EAW, but I did remember how active I was with Serena, even writing a few matches. I was active for months and even then, I was nowhere near the title pictire. Look, I'm not saying I'm ready to leave and become inactive, because that certainly isn't the case. I'm just saying that I'm kinda losing my motivation. I know a title won't just fall into my lap, but I'm sick of putting in so much work for so many feds and never getting the payoff or nothing to show for it. I've been in situations on other feds where I was a top contender and the champion wasn't even RPing and somehow still kept their reign. I just wanna know what being a champion feels like:( |

| I'm sorry, but was that supposed to be funny? If so...go fuck yourself. I'm debating on whether I want to keep doing what I love outside of getting Blitzkreiged off of dabs and gas and you're making jokes about. Sorry DDD, but he's not getting an apology for what I just said. I am fond of TLA, but I feel like I just got punched in the gut. There is a time and place for everything. |

And the forum ain't the time or place for your little sob story. Go promo for Empress of Elite if you want to be a champ instead of bitching and moaning. |

| Too be honest, what helps is if you genuinely promo for some match ups. TLA has a sharper tongue than me but I've seen you maybe promo for like...three matches here. Effort gets appreciation. |

That quote explains everything. Stop moaning because that won't give you a golden ticket to championship matches. Keep promoing. |

| You know, of all the things you could to do to draw attention to yourself as a candidate for a title, posting a thread airing your grievances about not having won one is quite possibly the *worst* option you could have explored. If you cannot think of a more creative and effective way to get noticed, perhaps you don't deserve to be a champion. |

| well, a serious reply about this....
if you don't know what is wrong about why you are not yet a champ in here, I'm gonna tell you why. Because you are not working hard enough. I might be writing this kind of thing as a sign of my frustration too but I think that is not a good decision. You see why newer vixens like Aria, Sheridan or Cailin overlapping me to get a spotlight because I admit, they are better than me at that promo page. They are working hard enough to get a place they are in now and I'm really fine with that. But all I need to do is to try to keep up with them by promoing with all I've got. They give me a compliment about how good my promos are but even I make good promo while they make a better one, how could I keep moving? All I have to do now is just keep trying, making promos with everything I've got and try surpass them and I believe, something good is going to happen for me.
Take Azumi Goto for an example. Azumi's promo is (I'm sorry, Azumi! :*) far from good in the first time she got here. But she is active in every match and willing to improve her promos into a better way and now she's improving a lot and she's ready anytime for a title shot when she get a chance. Do you want to be like Azumi? Why don't you try to take her as your example. You are in the tournament, which means that you will be booked every week. and this is the time for you to prove that you deserve a title shot. I mean, how could you complain about how you get a title shot if you are not even promoing when you have a match? Go for it.... be active on promo page. That promo page is where you depend your career on. not the feed, not this discussion board, not even the chat. So yeah, you have a match this week, why don't you start making promos and be active there from now on? |

| I've been E-fedding for 15 years.
I've won one title. And that's because the champ quit.
It's an e-fed. You're not getting paid, you're not earning food, your family isn't relying on this new promo to make ends meet...its writing. Enjoy it, or dont. |

| I was active off/on for years in EAW. As much as I knew my talent was good enough to win a world title here, I never won it.
It wasn't because I wasn't good enough, it was because I didn't earn it in the eyes of people booking me or there were better people out there at the time to be champion.
Making a thread bitching about wanting to be champion ain't gonna get you shit. Even in the Vixens division, there are people who have been waiting much longer than you to become champion. Haruna has been here for YEARS not MONTHS and still has not been Vixens Champion. Her only title reign at all ended in two weeks.
I DON"T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT HOW GOOD YOU ARE! YOU WANT THE TITLE, SCRAP FOR IT! STAY CONSISTENT. AND, SPEAKING FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, DONT FUCKING DISAPPEAR AND THEN EXPECT TO BE INSERTED INTO THE TITLE PICTURE! |

| I'm sure this thread will go 5 pages, continuing to harp on a point that the others above already helped rectify.
But I think you know now that you were in the wrong for having any sort of expectations in regards to EAW. Working hard, putting forth effort isn't exclusive to any one person. EAW is a different breed. It's the spirit of hard-nosed competition that keeps this place going, keeps people intact. It's a different culture, I don't blame you for having expectations as you are relatively new. There's no harm in having doubts, making your opinion and concerns known.
But now you know that you aren't being forgotten about, not to have expectations, it takes time/consistency, all that. I just hope the rest of the community doesn't perceive you differently after this. And at the very least, not reiterate what's already been said.
Just keep your head down, keep promoing, listen to Haruna's advice, and don't be discouraged by any smart remarks made in this thread. You were better off making this thread than letting your concerns dig into your motivation, feeling underappreciated. I think you'll have the right attitude thanks to this thread - I always recommend people make their concerns known, no matter how big or small, fair or outrageous. Because at the end of the day, communication is all you have as an outlet. And if nothing else, that's something you can always build on.
Best of luck going forward. |

| Maybe just a difference in style, but if this were a Voltage member and they had a similar complaint, I would be much more likely to listen to their concerns if they sent me a private message as opposed to making a spectacle out of it with a thread for all eyes to behold. |

| This thread itself is a perfect example. Notice how Haruna is getting all the appreciation even tho I said exactly the same shit she did. But I ain't gonna go out and bitch about it and throw a tantrum all over the forum cuz my advice is being overlooked. Instead I will keep working hard until DDD and Ken finally take notice of my inspirational and enlightening advice over Haruna and her second rate ripoff. |

When I decided to go into e-fedding it wasn't so much about titles. I could be a one day champ and I'm okay with it. I came here to tell a good story and learn more about wrestling in a way I haven't before. In all honesty I have a much greater appreciation for the business then ever before. If I become a champ again that would be cool. If not, then heck, it is what it is. |

| I've been doing this for...god, I don't feel like counting and feeling old...and in that time I've held gold in a lot of places. Guess what? didn't change anything. If anything, right now, with EAW putting the National championship on me, I feel more undeserving by the week because of my current lack of drive and promoers who I think are better than me in my current state losing to me due to either storyline purposes or a stray horse shoe finding it's way up my ass. But I also realize that I did a lot to get where I'm at over the past year plus and appreciate the fact that after busting my hump that I might be getting some leniency going into PPVs right now. With that being said, I'm not a coaster. At some point something is going to give where I either step away/retire for awhile or find my groove again. I might do it with the EAW National Championship, I might not, but I'm pretty damn sure I'll be doing better when my head's back in the game despite some fictitious accolade.
I hate people pissing and moaning about not getting something in e-fedding, especially in a fed with a roster as huge and talented as EAW's. I've been doing this stuff since...pick a decade...came into EAW with a pretty good reputation as an e-fedder and still had to earn a spot with a goof character and a talent pool of other vets and young guys alike chomping at the bit next to me.
Sometimes you can be good and not the best. It's not a curse, especially if you're truly good. If you're good, you can become great if you realize that good isn't great and that growth is an option. Growth and change aren't bad things either. If anything, delving deeper with your character's instincts and desires and fleshing out who they really are can only do you favors as a writer. You might not get gold, because again we're surrounded by great promoers here, but you might at least find some fulfillment and enjoyment in the act of writing instead of sulking over championships. |
