MyCareer in 2K14 is kinda corny, I like it though because it has a storyline, and it's a sports game. Making it really the first of its kind.
But if it's going to be similar for this, it just won't work. Wrestling games have had extensive stories for a good 10 years now, and considering you can only do it with a created character, I feel it's going to be more SvR 2008 career than anything else.

Imagine coming up the ranks of NXT with your created wrestler, Scott Diamond.
They can add cutscenes with your character.
