Well as long as we don't go past the first arc. I could give less shit. Also they better not mess with Ryuk

I literally have no complaints about Light being white. As long as they look the role and can pull it off I am not going to argue against it. As for the ones who complain about it, I have a sinking feeling that they are the same people complaining about Ghost in the Shell. Not many complained when Sam L Jackson played Nick Fury (Despite the character being  white originally.)
Honestly I think this and GITS are all ways of trying to appeal both shows to the Western Audience (Prey that neither of them fuck up worse than Dragonball.

As long as they're not erasing any part of the character's identity/any integral traits by changing the race, I guess it's whatever. And, like Laura said, I got a feeling that any changes at all were made with the purpose of wanting it to appeal to Western audiences, so...we'll see how this goes. I'm actually kinda excited for this so Netflix better not betray me.

The teaser looks promising. I just hope they don't mess up with certain characters or the story.
