For me it has to be a blend of the story being told by the character and where exactly he is. I created the Kelly Hackenschmidt character to be flexible and adaptable so nowadays I am proud of where my character has come. 

Another big inspiration for my character was an American Metal band called Manowar. In fact for those who listen to their music, you'll notice that I'll even quote Manowar when I can.
