LUST

“Do you know what sin created all of Demonkind?” Tarah Nova asked as she ran her tongue against the brass knuckles she wore. Before her, hordes of beasts seemingly made from the writhing bodies of humans, thrown together in a whirlwind of lust and decay roared in sexual rage as they began to race towards her. She smirked, cracking her knuckles together before taking a step back. A mirror, forged from the very essence of the Magatama she wore around her neck, formed behind her. The glass flickered, displaying a twisted reflection of herself, painted with clown like makeup. It lunged out from its glass prison, leaping into the fray of the demons as she herself stepped forward, her eyes flashing with a blood lust unrivaled in her team. She clenched her fist around the knuckles tighter, stepping in front of the demon that had gotten past her mirror shield. She pulled her fist back, letting her chaotic energy swirl along the red and black knuckles before letting her fist fly forward, slamming it into the bodies of the demon. It’s blasphemous form shuddered before it screamed as its torso burst with energy flowing from the knuckles. It’s blood caked her body and she grinned as she ran her tongue along her lips, seductively licking the life essence of the creatures off her lips.

“Lust created you all. Our sin.” Tarah laughed madly as the sound of a gun reloading filled the air. Red hair flashed for an instant before bullets ripped through the bodies of the fellow demons. Cailin Dillon held her twin Sub Machineguns with a look of disdain in her eyes, her body suspended by steam worked spider like legs. Her muted Magatama seemed to shimmer with every bullet fired, and she cocked the guns back as the demons bodies began to fall against the ground, their ichor bleeding out. The flame haired girl turned her head to the side casually, listening to the sound of a creeping demon that had escaped from her hailstorm of bullets and was now attempting to do the job that its fellows could not. She rolled her eyes as her Magatama glowed for a moment, before the spider like leg shot out, spearing through the body of the beast. It screeched for a pitiful moment, writhing in agony before its entire body went limp.
“Ugly bastards.” Cailin grunted as she pulled the leg from the body of the demon, dropping down to the ground as her weapons vanished into the air. She tossed her hair back again, letting out a steady sigh as Tarah smirked, turning and walking towards her. As if to cut into the quiet however, the pile of demonic forms behind her began to writhe. A single arm reaching out and grasping at the ground, scrambling towards Tarah. She barely gave it eye contact, letting a smirk dance its way across her lips as the still writhing Demon screamed in obscene rage.

The scream was silenced in but an instant as a Butterfly knife flashed through the air, piercing into the demon’s hand. A line of flame could be seen flickering about from where the knife had just been until another burst of heat could be felt. The demon continued to scream, even as a pink haired girl dropped down next to it, holding a second Butterfly knife in her hand. Tracings of flame could be seen flashing from her hands as she sliced at the pile of bodies, finishing it by grasping at her second dagger and ripping it away from the arm, turning around with a smirk on her face. The demon ceased its screaming, it’s body going limp before exploding altogether as fire consumed the alleyway. Aria tossed her hair back, lifting her hands as the daggers disappeared in a burst of sparks.
“Come on. We’re done here. I think Sloth wants us back quickly, apparently we are getting a new member.” She laughed, wrapping her arms around the shoulders of her team.

The first few members of the organization known as H.A.D.E.S. has been revealed. Only six more remain. What sin is next? Who are the 'sinners?' What is a Magatama? Stay tuned and find out.

“So our ‘leader’ decided to invite someone new to our organization without the consent of the rest of us?” Ares asked as his servant raced after him, bowing his head reverently and cleaning his suit. He ran his hands through his hair for a moment, trying to control his temperament. The priest like servant nodded his head to Ares as he continued moving. The sound of praise could be heard throughout the temple like structure. A domain of beings that were as akin to gods. Ares himself drew his hand against the Magatama that glinted in the light of the candles. His eyes traced along the marbled hall before turning his focus to the noise of more footsteps. A set of two. Ares turned his focus towards the sound, a smile cutting its way across his face as he saw two of the loyal soldiers of the HADES organization racing across the hallway.

To start was the lad that they had started referring to as PB. Mostly because the only name that they actually knew him by was Pizza Boy. PB was little more than a boy to this organization. Not yet experienced enough in the dangers of the world that gave their organization life. Racing beside him was the bearded figure of Bryan Danielson. A member of the organization since its inception. Ares turned his focus back to the front of the hallway, glaring forward. Their leader had gone too far. He had bypassed their own rulings and recruited someone outside of their normal ways. He clenched his fist, the Magatama glinting with crackling demonic energy. He could feel it starting to form and shift around his left arm but he let out a soft breath, keeping his energy at its minimum before he turned his focus towards the other two.

“So, it’s true then?” Brian asked as he moved to the left side of Ares. PB moved to the right, looking up with concerned eyes. Ares felt scorn rise in his throat but he swallowed that down as well. Anger. More of it building further and further. Danielson instinctively reached back for his swords. Ares let out another steady breath before nodding his head, having calmed down enough to respond.
“Yeah, that’s exactly what happened. Of all the idiotic things our great leader has decided to enact, he has chosen to do this. Bring in someone new, someone untested.” he growled to himself as he stopped at the large hinged doors in front of him. Oak with gold inlays. Intertwining branches centered around a battle between an angel and a demon, with a human like figure in the middle holding them back. HADES symbol. Ares pressed his palm against the human’s face before pushing the door open with a grunt.

“Ares! You took a bit longer to get here than I thought you would.” TLA called down to the man from his perch on one of the thrones. The throne across from him, a looming figure known as Lucian Black slowly tilted his head to look up, his hair falling in front of his eyes. An air of primal energy filled the air between both TLA and Lucian. A result of their Magatama energy mixing with the air that permeated the entire room. Energy that was eclipsed by the aura that could be felt from the chair in the center of the room. A towering structure, seemingly made of energy itself, its entire form glowing in its own majestic way. At its apex, a chair made of platinum, its inlays gold, sat the leader of their organization. Leader in way of when it counted though. Their commander. A man who had gone by many names but none would discount that what he went by now was a testament to the position he held. Methuselah. His blonde hair drifting in front of his closed eyes.
“You go too far!!” Ares shouted in anger, unable to hold it back. His own demonic energy flowed free from his Magatama, erupting into a fire like frenzy around his left hand before it formed into its shield like state. A long curved blade glimmering at the end of the shield. Before Brian or PB could stop him, Ares lifted off the ground, the blade flashing in the air as it sailed towards Methuselah. He didn’t even open his eyes, instead a grin formed on his face as a rush of air could be heard. TLA and Lucian moved faster than could be predicted, Lucians tusk like pikes and TLA’s clawed gauntlet blocking the blow of Ares strike, as the tip of the blade barely missed piercing the skull of Methuselah.

“Ares...do you really doubt me that much? Do you believe that I would make a decision that would put our order in danger?” he asked, brushing his hair away from his eyes before opening them. Stark blue, a product of his radiating Magatama. The eyes to ward off evil. He lifted his hand casually, a long spear forming out of what seemed to be solar light itself forming in his palm as he pressed it to Ares forehead, the two locked in an embrace of unmitigated rage and death. They glared at one another, neither unwilling to back down before Ares let out a harsh snarl and released his own weapon, letting it ebb back into his being as he dropped to the ground, brushing his clothes free of any ‘dust’ that had gotten on him during the battle.
“We have no reason to trust anyone at this point...if this experiment of yours proves to be a failure I will not show mercy.” Ares stated angrily, turning and kicking the door open, exiting the room with an air of menace. Danielson and PB glanced back towards the door, worry on their faces before they looked up towards Methuselah.
“Should we follow?” Danielson asked with a tilt of his head, getting a negative from their commander as he turned to a computer screen that he had opened.

“We have more pressing matters to attend to rather than someone’s ego. If he does not return then you may go. Till then I need mission reports. Aren. Aren are you and your team at the war zone?” Methesulah called to the computer screen. The screen filled with static before a bemused laugh could be heard from it.
“I don’t know what you take us for...yep. Team Pride is in position.”
