Out of curiosity, what is the obvious? xD Without meaning to give the game away in the "2 Truths and a Lie" thread, I actually suffer from schizophrenia myself. I am in no way The Riddler in real life, but it's my own troubles with the affliction that has definitely inspired the character. I've also always been a big fan of dark and eerie gimmicks in professional wrestling so combining my real life experiences with the cartoon-like gimmicks we see in the sport was very natural for me. - Anthony Leonhart wrote:

I think I mentioned this in one of the other threads, but basically I came up with the character of "The Riddler" when I was twelve. Or rather, I came up with the name of "The Riddler" because he hasn't always had a multiple personality disorder and heard voices in his head. As you've all probably gathered, I was a huge fan of Batman (and I still am) at the time, which is where I acquired the name. Trust me though, I know it's both crappy and corny, and probably hate the name MORE than anyone else. However, I can't bring myself to change it because a.) it's the name I've had for over a decade, and b.) it always reminds me of better times. I guess I could just demote it to a nickname and still have it tied to the character but to be honest, it's a name that always gets people talking... which I like. |

What are some of your favorite television shows? Yes, I do all my own graphics if you want a small example of my work. Aside from my namesake, there's Ra'a Al Ghul, Harley Quinn, Bane, Deathstroke, Robin (the Tim Drake version is my personal favourite) and, obviously, Joker. To be honest, I think Batman has some of the biggest and best villains in any comic book series so I could list a lot more but they're the ones that come to mind immediately. My mothers Sunday Roast: mash potato, Yorkshire puddings, beef, roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy. I'm an accepted up-loader on PSD Dreams and after uploading a couple of pictures one day I saw the EAW logo at the bottom, remembered that I was in need of a new place to roleplay and thought I'd give it a try. Currently there's Gotham (obviously), I'm into all The Defenders programmes on Netflix (Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Daredevil... and I'm sure Iron Fist is going to be great too), Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Stranger Things (can't wait for the second series), Last Week Tonight With John Oliver and Better Call Saul. Again, I could list loads more and I could list loads that I've loved in the past (although you can probably work out the kinda thing I'm in to by this list alone) but those are the ones that spring to mind immediately. - JakobThunderstruckDeLion wrote:

Without a shadow of a doubt, it was the best match I've ever witnessed. The only thing that left me a little disappointed was that following the match, Kenny Omega got nearly all the plaudits from western professional wrestling fans (both European and North American) when Kazuchika Okada was the real unsung hero. Honestly, Okada has been the best wrestler in the world for five/six years in my humble opinion; picking up wins convincingly when asked to, making others (and particularly American wrestlers) look GREAT and generally just going about his business putting on one stellar performance after another, proving he's also the most consistent worker in the world. Omega was great too though and like I said, the match is unquestionably the best I've ever witnessed.

| I just wanted to say that your profile looks rad. I haven't had the opportunity to read your promos but something tells me you're good. My advice: stick around, promo consistently and you will make it to the top in no time. |

Thanks, my man. It genuinely means a lot to me to hear so many positive comments. I don't plan on going anywhere and I'm hoping I can roleplay at least once a week so I guess we'll see where that takes me. xD I just really hope the expectations aren't too high because that terrifies me. - Nobi wrote:

Urgh. I hate these questions because it can change on what seems a daily basis but right now? The five I'm following most closely are (in no particular order) Kazuchika Okada, Matt Riddle, Tyler Bate, Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll. If you're talking about all time then it's probably Bobby Shane, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Eddie Guerrero and El Solitario who are again, in no particular order. |

| First and formost, love your graphical work and loving your promo style so far, you've taken to the place amazingly fast and it's cool to see. Hope to see you stick around.
As for my question, why was Tama Tonga your choice of pic base over some of the names you've mentioned in your top wrestlers list? (an example being why Riddler was not Marty Scurll). |

Thanks, brother. I wish we had a place where we could ask for feedback because I'd love feedback on my stuff, promos in particular. Yeah, so to hear you "love" 'em fills me with glee. <3 It's also good to know that I've taken to this place because I still feel slightly out of the loop, I've just tried to involve myself as much as possible. I certainly don't plan on going anywhere else... Believe it or not, I did actually consider Marty Scurll because I think his "Villain" attire actually suits the idea of Riddler quite well. However, the picture base was taken and ultimately, it was Tama Tonga's war paint that made him an easy choice for me. I don't rate him as a wrestler, but as a lookalike I think he has everything I was looking for. |

What're your thoughts on PROGRESS Wrestling? I pop in every now and then, just haven't said "Hey" yet. xD It's the best wrestling promotion in Britain (by a long, long way) and, if I'm being perfectly honest, I'd put it right up there in third place after the 'E and NJPW, just ahead of CHIKARA and PWG, and way out in front of both ROH and TNA. It is completely my kind of wrestling; from their talent, their matches, their atmosphere and their storylines, they're just slaying it at the moment. Let's just put it this way: any promotion that can make Jimmy Havoc a bonafide star is great. xD |

Wow, really good question. I can't remember a whole lot about my early years as a professional wrestling fan but the one match that came immediately to mind when I read your question was Shawn Michaels Vs. Razor Ramon at WrestleMania X. I was only two years old when it initially aired (so didn't see it live) but I later had a friend at school who had VHS tapes of a myriad of WWF events, and we'd watch 'em when I went 'round to his. I wouldn't say I was necessarily a fan at that point despite enjoying it, but after seeing that match I think I knew I was going to be a lifelong pro wrestling fan. The whole event was good but I think that's when Shawn Michaels truly became the "Show Stealer" and it still fills me with glee when I see highlights of that match, or I watch it in its entirety. |
