| Favorite Match: Brian Daniels vs Ares Vendetta - EAW Answers World Championship Match
Favorite Moment: Lannister coming into the War Games match and just hitting every single person with the Feuer Frei! :WHEW:
Most Shocking Moment/Result: The WarGames Cage Moment with Brian/Robbie/Ares along with the ending of WarGames because of the classic Brian troll
Who Had the Best/Worst Night: Best: Lannister and Ares Vendetta Worst: Brian Daniels
Who Stole the Show: Lannister
Rating/General Comments: 10/10. Awesome show and once again, Robbie outclassing writers like myself with that classy fucking main event that will probably be nominated for Match of the Year. |

| Favorite Match: War Games.
Favorite Moment: MUH BB CAILIN TAKING HER PLACE AS EMPRESS!
Most Shocking Moment/Result: The crazy finish to War Games, and probably anything Ares did during/after the main event. Using his dad as a shield? Beating him down? Lowering the War Games structure? Poor Brian.
Who Had the Best/Worst Night: Best night, Ares, Cailin, Lannister, and PB (for extending the never-ending National Elite title reign). Worst night, it's not really a question. Brian died. :/
Who Stole the Show: Homicidal Ares, Lord Lannister, and Empress Cailin.
Rating/General Comments: 20/10, Jesus Christ. Night two was like night one on crack. It was great. |

| Favorite Match: Ares vs Brian. Fucking hell.
Favorite Moment: Lannister laying out everyone.
Most Shocking Moment/Result: Ares annihilating RoViper. DDD murdering Oasis.
Who Had the Best/Worst Night: Lannister, Cailin. Worst, Brian and Oasis; RIP.
Who Stole the Show: Lannister and Cailin.
Rating/General Comments: It never ceases to amaze me how phenomenal this writing team is. Robbie fucking killing it time and time again. 10/10 and that's not doing it justice. |

| Favorite Match: War Games was flat out amazing, and choosing against it is very troubling on me. However, at the same time, Brian Daniels vs. Ares Vendetta just delivered in EVERY aspect, if you ask me, and should be a strong candidate for Match of the Year. Of course Robbie was going to write a 10/10 slobber-knocker of a match, but beyond that, the build-up, star power, and hype leading up to it (Even the day of, with two underrated interview segments that set the tone) were amazing. It goes without saying that I share a bias towards these two as individuals to begin with, so I was always going to be hooked into the match. But the story telling displayed in this match was purely a phenomenon in marvel, and the chat crowd was only able to feed even more energy into this match. Just really, it was the perfect storm. The reversals, the spots, the back-and-forth submission holds, using Robbie V as a dirty deed tactic, it had me on the edge of my seat the entire way.
Favorite Moment: The finish to War Games. (The double finish - tricking the audience/reader into believing Team Ryder won for a millisecond. Just an amazing spot in general, and the sequence that led up to it. A lot of amazing spots through the night but I think that and the never-ending-sequence of Brian and Ares swapping submissions in the mainevent are the ones that stand out to me.
Most Shocking Moment/Result: I honestly didn't expect Lannister to basically destroy everyone post-match, but who is he am I to complain??? There was nothing really shocking to be honest with you, as Ares is the devilish-kind of scum that would indeed use his father as a pawn. So the real answer to this question will be Ryan Marx turning on team leader Matt Ryder right before the finish to War Games.
Who Had the Best/Worst Night: Best night will go to the new empress around these parts, Cailin. Yes, Lannister and Ares had very strong nights - but they've been here before. Lannister and Ares conquering their opponents is nothing new in script, but Cailin - this was about a year's worth of work finally paying off. This was about finally having that signature moment and win, and how it has been long deserving. And it was just the perfect stamp to a very high-regarded, prestigious tournament.
Worst night will easily go to Brian Daniels, as I don't expect to see him in-script again any time soon. Ares absolutely dismantled him beyond the point of no return. Thankfully Brian's character is the most resilient of all time, or else who would know if we'd be seeing him again.
Who Stole the Show: In a script sense, would probably have to go with a combination of Lannister and Ares. But considering the source, I'd rather just say Ares Vendetta. When you put a man of the caliber of Brian Daniels on the shelf indefinitely, while transforming into this side of Ares that we've never seen before, sadistic and twisted as ever. That literally has to control the EAW airwaves for the immediate future.
Rating/General Comments: 10/10 night, in my honest opinion. The crowd was fantastic from what I saw, especially that mainevent. For a match that perfectly written, hyped, and executed - I was glad to see the crowd give it some justification. The story telling and spots for all these matches were amazing, and I feel most, if not all, progressed the story beyond something further than tonight's results. There is just SO much fallout to dive into in regards to War Games to the point it's too obvious to mention. Mr. DEDEDE and Scott Oasis definitely don't look like they're done yet, since DDD went and got himself disqualified. BTW, if there is an OMG Moment/Category - What DDD did post-match would be my answer. Then of course what happens to Brian Daniels? What consequences will Ares face, if any? What was that glimmer of life that we saw out of Robbie V? So on and so forth. I know it's a cliche to say, but really - everything turned out great: great matches, nothing seemed filler, amazing build, some epic spots, and fantastic promoing and activity from the community on this one. Props to the writers first and foremost, for all the effort and time taken to make a show of this magnitude a spectacle - but to the community as well for making all of it worth it. Probably my favorite TI I've been apart of.

On a side note: I said it on the forums in a different topic but I'll say it again. Shoutout to all those that promoed for the War Games match. I've only promoed 9 times in one week before, but that was different because a crown was on the line. Here, basically nothing but bragging rights for all parties involved, yet, it inspired me to put out some of my best work in a year and a half. That was due to my opponents giving me so much material to work with, so thank you to Matt Ryder, Ryan Marx, Tyler Parker, Chris Elite, and Lioncross for bringing the best out of me, as it was a blast through and through. My partners and teammates were a pleasure to work with as well. Lannister may have seemingly won the war games in-script, but couldn't have done it without the amazing work you guys put out yourself. Learned a lot this week about the talents of Ryder, Marx, and Borg - and even if Lannister shines today, can't help but expect it to be one of those three in the future, if not all. Never really had the privilege to work hand-and-hand with Jay before while active, so that was a nice bucket list moment, and the quality put out by him, great per usual. And Crash, I always look forward working with you. Terry, was glad to have you on my side for this one. Just all in all, was really impressed with the effort, but more importantly, the QUALITY put out this week by you guys. If not for a legendary match-up that people have waited years to see, this match would have been well worth the mainevent status. |
