-I'd personally prefer to see more of Gallagher, but Tozawa is the bigger indy name.  Considering I was burned once for not going for an indy name over what I thought WWE would go for in the first round, I'm going Tozawa.

Gran Metalik vs Tajiri
I'll go as far as to say I think they'll hire Metalik.  Tajiri's there to be a first round spoiler and put over someone in the next, or at least that's how I view his spot in the tourney.  

Ho Ho Lun vs Noam Dar
This may end up being the worst match in the tourney for me.  I don't care for Ho Ho, and Dar isn't terrible, but he needs more experience.  I'm guessing Dar goes over though.

Drew Gulak vs Zack Sabre Jr
-On the flip side of things, this might be the match I look forward to the most in this round.  It's either going to be a technical spectacle or a miserable clash of similar styles.  I'm thinking it'll be the former.

Brian Kendrick vs Tony Nese
The smart money is probably on Kendrick after the first round, but I'm staying the course of believing they'll push young blood over experience in this thing.  Nese is great, but I'm not sure he'll be a favorite in the following round.

Kota Ibushi vs Cedric Alexander
I hate going against my hometown boy, but Kota's taking the bracket I think.  It's a damn shame this isn't happening in the semi-finals instead of the second round.  I would have loved to see Ced stick around a bit longer.

TJ Perkins vs Johnny Gargano
While I don't think they'll put the strap on someone already known in NXT as a talent under contract, I do think Gargano will push forward through this round 


Lince Dorado vs Rich Swann
It just seems to be Rich's lot in life to be a flashy enhancement talent wherever he lands, and I don't think it will be different here.  It's going to be an awesome match though.

Akira Tozawa vs Jack Gallagher


I thoroughly enjoyed his match in round one and can see him going far into the tournament, very good and entertaining talent. Technically strong and impressed me a shit ton, would love to see him go far.



Gran Metalik vs Tajiri


I missed Tajiri, a very good wrestler, but I feel they were saving him to strengthen a good run for Gran Metalik, a young talent that will along with Tajiri be used to build the Counterweight division on Raw imo. 


Ho Ho Lun vs Noam Dar

I honestly didn't like Ho Ho as much as some did, mainly due to his lack of charisma imo. Noam Dar played the villian perfectly and the CWC needs a good bad guy in the tournament, something different than the others and thats what he has and will do.


Drew Gulak vs Zack Sabre Jr

Both of these guys really lacked alot in the first round and would love to see the ZSJ that I heard so much about. Hopefully it is an awesome match instead of another snorefest imo. Alot of potiental to be a good one but only time can tell, I feel there is to much hype on ZSJ for him to lose in the second round.


Brian Kendrick vs Tony Nese

This one is hard for me, Brian Kendrick burned the house down round 1 and Nese rocked it, but I can see the WWE having him potentially in the finals.


Kota Ibushi vs Cedric Alexander


Kota is known for being one of the best, Cedric is alittle less known, even though he is awesome. I can see them putting Alexander over Ibushi  as a shocking upset for the tournament.


TJ Perkins vs Johnny Gargano

TJ Perkins is going to win this, after Johnny had a barn burner with Ciampa, he will take the loss then go on to win the tag titles at TakeOver Brooklyn.

I notice a lot of guys picking tajiri and kendrick to go far. While i wouldn't mind seeing either of these two go far, i feel the main focus needs to be building up new, less known talent. Both tajiri and kendrick have enough recognition to be able to lose and still have a new start in wwe

I only pick Kendrick to put over Ibushi. I just saw that he won.
