Update: Dana White is apparently searching for another fighter to replace Jones. If he can't, Dana said that Cormier might not be compensated at all.

Absolute idiot.

He's already one of the best fighters in history, he's cleared out a division filled with killers at a relative young age but he still had yet to reach his prime and very easily could have gone down as THE greatest fighter ever, ahead of Silva & GSP. He's essentially blown everything for himself, he continuously manages to find a way to fuck himself over.

Seriously, this is a guy who got offered a second chance after getting caught being on cocaine and managed to avoid jail time after hitting his car into a pregnant woman's car and running away from it. He hasn't even bothered to complete his community service in the time he was meant to do it and he can't even stay drug-free after all of that. It's only a potential violation at the moment but his history would suggest he's moronic enough to have been doping.  

It's sad to see a guy who on the day of winning his title at age 23 actually chased down and stopped a mugger turn out the way he has, I'm a fan of Jones but fucking hell, the lad is a fuck-up.

No better way to squander your chance to be recognized as GOAT than to consistently not fight.

Demon and LC said all I had to say on this one, just fucking unbelievable. I'm also convinced this guy is an addict who seriously needs help before he does irreversible damage to his life, and I hope there are at least some decent people around him who aren't enablers and will set him straight.

I don't even feel bad for him. 

It's obvious that he has a serious problem and that he needs to take care of it. That's unfortunate yes, but there's no way he can say he was blindsided by any of this. After all the shit that he talked in the weeks leading up to the fight, KNOWING THIS WAS COMING... it's remarkably stupid.

He shouldn't put out any sort of statement, there's nothing he can say to make any of this better. He should just quietly step away, serve his suspension and get clean. Honestly, if I'm UFC... I don't even know if I bring him back, he's become an extreme liability at this point.

I hope they find some way to compensate Cormier, maybe not fully but this is so unfair to him.

Not to mention yesterday I was watching ESPN and they were praising him for winning back the UFC fans and now he goes and fucks up the biggest event in their history.

So for those who care,

Pretty much confirmed he tested positive for 2 estrogen blockers, which is taken by men after a steroid cycle typically as when your  testosterone levels go up, so does your estrogen levels but this masks that.

Idiots now looking at a four year suspension, two years for each failed one.

I think at this point, he should be barred from not only UFC but Mixed Martial Arts in general.
