Drove 12 hours from nc to florida.  Mama Butcher had a massive stroke.  Had a hole drilled into her skull to release spinal fluids that had built up.  Doctor said it might take her a week to come to... she woke up 6.am. this morning.  Death come at her and she kicked out at 1... nothings for sure yet really... but there's more hope than there was when we first heard the news.  she's done things like sit up because she had to go to the bathroom... XD was raising hell because they put these mitts on her and she's not able to take out the tubes and stuff she's hooked to... even with these boxing glove like mitts she still pulled the breathing apparatus out of her mouth when she first woke... anyways, thanks for the outlet.

Hits a bit close to home, remember when my mom had a stroke while I was a kid. Can be a bit disturbing seeing your parent in that type of condition. Best wishes man, hopefully she recovers well.

That sucks. My dad has been dealing with health issues lately too. He had heart surgery last week. Fortunately, the surgery was a success. Hopefully things get better for your mom tho.
