Just asking and curious, I know there are some who just can't get on the chat since they don't have access to internet from home or stuff like that like Crash, but this is for new people now too and just in general.

Also, when I mean efedzone, I wonder is it because you just don't want to make a disqus account, are lazy or perhaps you don't want your account to post on EAW? Talk away.

I'm kind of surprised people don't know about efedzone, perhaps we vets and the board need to beter explain or point things out. Efedzone is where stuff like MVE-award giving weekly for things based on shows and promos-, draft news sometimes and other EAW articles can be posted. You can find it at the bottom of the sidebar part of forumotion, and you can find them on the bottom of every page of the normal EAWrestling.com site. In those articles you can post comments with disqus.

I think EAW could do a much better job marketing efedzone so that members actively look for it. I know it's not the main focus right now since EAW needs to, instead, make sure that shows are posted completely and on time, but if EAW could incentivize writing efficiently and consistently for efedzone, I think it could go a long way in A) ensuring that there is interest in ALL storylines that EAW has, not just the ones that are on your brand or have to do with you and B) give up-and-coming writers something to do when they aren't given matches to write. I think that MVE should be consistently written by the same person, and, ideally, they should get it up on time. You can have the second highest ranking efedzone writer be in charge of Power 10 or something else that comes up relatively consistently. Everyone else can basically run ideas past the top two "head" efedzone writers before taking on articles of their own. These can be interviews, insights, comparisons, or anything else.

I generally think that you'd want to have the MVE and "secondary" head writer be two people who have been a part of EAW for a long time so that they know the value of MVE and so that they can also supply articles that compare, say, Jamie O'Hara's first reign to Lethal Consequences' first reign (stuff that would otherwise require significant research). I get the impression that the greener efedders here are way more enthusiastic about reading entire shows, looking forward to other people's matches and storylines, and checking in with stuff that doesn't have to do with them, so I think they'd be perfect to write for efedzone if they so wish. By pumping out articles on a consistent basis and the board really pushing to market efedzone as a "show" of sorts (in that people feel compelled to keep up with efedzone as they're expected to for shows). But like I said, not exactly a priority for EAW at this point, just more a thought of where Efedzone could be headed in the future.

In terms of the efedzone, what Drastik said.  It'd be more work, but it would make the articles mean more.

In terms of chat, I think that pretty much every time I've logged on, it's been in the middle of way too explicit conversations.  So I avoid it unless I'm specifically looking for someone.  If that's what does it for you on chat, more power to ya.  Just doesn't interest me.  Maybe that's not what it's always like, but it's enough of a trend for me to not bother checking in.

I think I am the non staff here to send the most article in Efed Zone, I sent about three or four articles... more or less. Props to Mr. Scott Oasis to helping me out.... I don't know if people reading those articles or not but no problem, it was fun.... I also encouraging you people to send your stuff

As for the chat, well umm..... yes, I used to come to the chat frequently but because of something, maybe I decided to be active on the forum more. What ONI said has a point too. I also avoiding explicit conversations. Besides, when I still frequently come to the chat, all I always do is just checking the news to check the show if it's up already or not then I logged out again.

People dont know about efed zone for the same reason people dont know about the specifics of the hall of fame, or title history, or the FPV archives; because people who should know better not to do that are treating the forums like its the mainsite. Theyre steering newer people to forums, or xat, when someone asks for the chat they say "xat.com/eawrestling" instead of eawrestling.com/chatroom for example. This needs to discontinue in 2016. (H)

While I do see a point in either including all of that stuff somewhere on this forum (specifically as a click-through banner or something like that) or linking people to the main site instead of this site or the xat page, I'm not sure it's exactly comparable. Efedzone is something that is updated at least once a week with new content and contains information that would be nowhere else on the site while people could figure out title history updates so long as they read shows. The Hall of Fame happens once a year and people aren't going to actively check in there at any point, regardless of where we link people. While it'd be cool for there to be interest in checking out EAW's history through archives, title history, and the hall of fame, it's not something that updates all that frequently and isn't something that should be promoted (at least moreso than efedzone) to be kept up with on a weekly basis.

Xat for some reason doesn't work on a regular tab for my browser. It only works for an icognitio or private window so i dont go on much. Plus some people make me not want to be in the chat period. Otherwise i do posts on the forums

I pop in the chat often enough to chat with the squad. E-fed Zone and Forum? Meh, I don't feel like I ever have something that is worth contributing to either sections.

Honestly I've been shying from the chat a lot recently because I honestly feel like my presence isn't really acknowledged much. Don't get me wrong, everyone has always been welcoming with open arms.. but it just seems when I make an attempt to jump in conversations I'm quickly pushed out no matter how often I try and be apart of things. There are a lot of guys in the chat I really enjoy speaking with but again, most of my conversations are via PC due to this. I know of a quite of a few people that feel the same way about this subject but it's not exactly a problem to be concerned with. You can't change the way people act towards one another overnight and hopefully sometime it can get better in the future but until then, I'll just shy away from the chat.

I don't get on because I barely have ready access to my PC. And when I do, I'm playing CS:GO.

I respond better to PM's then anything.  Between two jobs, school and life I don't really want to spend an hour in a Chat room when the Chat is usually random nonsense.

The only day I can come to chats is on Tuesday (Monday Night and Tuesday morning in US). But it's not impossible to find me outside Tuesday. Wherever I have time I think.
