| Most of the time. I've gone on dates with people I've known where, to avoid it being awkward, it's all split 50/50.
But for the hope of something more and/or with someone you've never met, then absolutely. It leaves a good impression unless you're a cunt who flashes his wallet like it means something. |

| There is usually compromise. I usually do two-part dates. So say it's a movie/dinner date, GF pays for the dinner, I pay for the date, or vise versa. |

| I think it's at least a good habit to offer or assume that you can pay for their dinner. If they object vehemently, or say 'just this one time', then let them pay. I never thought of it as an issue, really. I think people make more of it than it should be. Especially SJW's, but I date those. |
