Was looking through some old threads and found an old imaginary concept thread.

Simple scenario, tough choice. It's Territorial Invasion season, and a rival Fed declares war on EAW. The rival chooses their best 5 promoers and challenges EAW to a 5 on 5 war at the main event of an FPV. It'll be a promo war and the chairman of EAW gives you the responsibility of:
 
1. Choosing the team of 5 male or female. You don't have to be on it.

2. Choosing two responsible people to closely monitor the promos being cut to determine the match winners.

3. Choose who writes the match

What are your choices, and provide why your choices are what they are. Remember, in this hypothetical this Fed is a powerful fed, somewhere even around our level so you oughta take your choices seriously and whatnot or EAW is put to shame thanks to your shitty booking. Go!

Team EAW:
1. King Lannister 

Not only is he one the top promoers in EAW, (if not the best) but he has a storyline reputation as being a leader when it comes to gang warfare. He's the leader of RAGNAROK and I would trust him to lead Team EAW. Also, he'd be a dominating presence on the promo page which would shake the rival e-fed.

2. Ares Vendetta

Call me crazy putting Lannister and Ares on the same team, but I think if I could get them to look past their differences and realize they have a common enemy, the combined talents of the two would be unmatchable. With Ares also having experience in gang warfare and being a leader, I would make Ares and Lannister Co-Captains of Team EAW. Both reporting to me of course, so I could squash any beef that might muster up between them. The promos between Lannister and Ares as rivals are damn near the best in EAW, but putting them together, not too many efedders that I've ever met could hang with them.

3. Jamie O'Hara

This might be a controversial pick to some people, but I mean, Jamie is Mr. CITV for a reason. If I were booking EAW, it wouldn't be long before Jamie won the championship. He is probably my favorite promoer right now, not to mention he never skips a beat. Every week he's consistent and that's the most important thing. I can't have someone on my team who's not gonna show up every time I need them to show up and Jamie ALWAYS shows up and shows out.

4. Y2Impact

The intelligence of Y2Impact is off the charts. The psychological game he plays when he promos is enough to throw anyone off, just because a lot of people might not be sharp enough to understand what he means. People in that rival fed will need to bust out a dictionary and probably end up googling a lot of information that Impact throws out at them. Anyone that can throw the rival team off their game is essential to my team.

5. Heart Break Boy

HBB has so much experience in so many different feds, playing different characters, he's almost like the Grand Wizard of Team EAW. The Dumbledore if you will. He knows exactly what to do in every situation, knows how to approach every match and every promo he posts is gold (no pun intended.) There is never any half-ass stuff from HBB, and if this rival fed is as strong as EAW is, I need someone like HBB to make sure the quality is at 100% every single time.

Determine Match Winners:
1. Xavier Williams

The biggest thing here when it comes to judging promos and determining winners is the integrity of the judge. There are people who will side with Team EAW just because it's EAW and ignore the fire promos put out by the rival e-fed. Xavier has been, in my experience, always a fair judge when it comes to promos. Not to mention, the only people who can judge between a good and a bad promo have to know what a good promo is. Bad promos are strictly based on comparison to other promos, and Xav is someone who has the ability to write a great promo, therefore he has the ability to recognize promos that are not up to par, and compare them to the other promos.

2. Mr. DEDEDE

DDD probably has the most experience when it comes to judging promos in EAW, aside maybe Carlos or Ken but you might have both of them beat too, not sure on the timeline for everyone to be honest. I do know though that since I've become familiar with the EAW fed, DDD has been in some type of spot to where he is judging promos and comparing promos to determine who is best. Like Xav, DDD has the ability to write great promos, so he has the ability to know when one is not so great. Also, I believe DDD has a high standing of integrity as well, and will put aside his loyalty to EAW to determine who wrote the best promos.

Match Writer:
1. Robbie V

Ever since Robbie came to LEGION and I started reading his stuff more often, he was one of my favorite writers. There's a big team of writers here in EAW, all who could do a great job writing a match like this. The writers in EAW are what makes the the shows so good to read, but if there's one writer who I could choose over any other writer, it would be Rob. Even post-LEGION, when Robbie wrote Voltage, I loved reading the show. I think the match would be the best it could be if Rob wrote this one. Not to mention, Rob is another man of integrity, who I don't think would let any standing in EAW influence how the other fed were portrayed in the match. That's the most important thing when it comes to writing a match like that, make it seem fair and balanced with the writing, especially if the rival fed is meant to be as good as EAW. Robbie I think would be the best choice.

Five of the best promoers in EAW history and guys that would mass produce promos like a factory. These guys have represented EAW for the past decade as the best promoers, might as well put the life of EAW on the line with them. The "leader" would probably be DEDEDE but I would think there'd be a sense of veteran respect among all 5 guys.

1. DEDEDE - Has the most e-fed IQ points
2. King Lannister - Most fair and creative booker I've seen

Match Writer
Dark Demon - It was between Demon or Robbie to write it, but I'll give the nod to Demon because Robbie is a promoer and Demon would write an all out bloody war.

4. Mr. DEDEDE (C)
5. Y2Impact

That is honestly the best group I can think of that EAW can possibly make. There are obviously some other choices but when it comes down to it, all these guys have the experience and talent to represent EAW to the fullest. All of them have played different characters and each and every single time, they have shown you exactly why all of them are deserving Hall of Famers. Their promos alone speak for themselves but let it be known that this is ALL time. 

Determine match winners:
Xavier Williams
Carlos Rosso

I didn't really want to give the responsibility of choosing a match winner to anyone in the force (it would be DDD/Ken in that case) but I really believe Xav has always been fair and always would be fair. He has only been here a few years but he's been one of the best board additions ever and I think he would do great here. Carlos on the other hand has the experience and something I would really trust in this scenario, he also is quite fair. The lot of them would have tons of arguments about the winner but I have no doubt they'd pick out the right team.

Match writer:
Dark Demon

I just love this guy's writing and he's done it so often for this company in the past few years. Once again, no one in the force but Dark Demon would write this match so well (and long).. everyone would just really fall in love with it. Demon would love the opportunity to write such talented 5 legends and would really do well in this case.

With that said, LETS GO EAW'S SPECIAL FORCES AND WIN THIS!
