well, I think I really need some feedback about all what I do with that negativities around. All the depress things I let out lead me to this promo. and this is the conclusion of what I've done about my so-called downfall. I summarized all I get since the first time I got depressed then voila. This promo is the climax.

Please tell me what you think. Yes, I aware there are so many grammatical mistakes in there. I already re-read it and I'm not sure where to fix it. poor me Sad

Anyway, here it goes Smile

That story about the Blue/Red Ogres was mentioned in the anime 'My Love Story' (Ore Monogatari). Its very unique though part of me felt Haruna was leaning close to the dark side in this one. A little more lengthy than your other stuff, but the contrast between Haruna and Maddie is quite interesting.

Showdown Promo #2

The ho-hum, mediocrity of opposition I've had to face in the last couple of weeks is destroying any sense of desire that I have for succeeding in this industry.  There comes a time and a place when one must stop what they are doing if they realize that they aren't going anywhere, because they are expending energy that can go towards something more productive. I admit that I was jaded by all the false promises that EAW laid before me; they had instilled the ideas that I could be a major player within the organization and make a real impact. Yet, I sit here and ponder why I'm in still in the same place that I've been sitting at ever since I've debuted in Showdown.  Can't you see it, Pizza Boy?  Do you not see the fact that both of us are going to be left out of Territorial Invasion?  Don't you see that this is a giant problem within this business?  The hand-picked successors will always make the leaps and bounds towards fame and glory rather than people who work hard to achieve their status, because opportunity is given rather than earned.  There are people like Brett Kennedy, who...even after losing...are instantly being promoted to one of the top two matches on the Free Per View and yet, we are going to sit out and be forced to watch on the couch.   We might as well be given "Participations Ribbons" and a giant ol' pat on the back, because we did good but not good enough.  Hehe....hehehehaha.

Typical...

I had to make an example out of you, Pizza Boy.  You go around and show your "passion" every single night that you go out and you ACTUALLY think that you did everything via "hard work" and "determination". We all know the truth, though. You are nothing but a man who has been given the luck of the draw throughout your entire career.   Was I given a match against the World Champion during my debut at Showdown?  Hell no! Do you really think that EAW would have enough faith to put me at the very top during my debut?  Why are you given the opportunity of a lifetime and, as such, are gifted a win by Jamie O'Hara!? YOU EVEN GET YOUR OWN SPECIAL ENTRANCE AT PAIN FOR PRIDE!?

I have to calm down...I need to relax...because....well, because....I shouldn't care anymore.

I'm not surprised that this is how things are running here in EAW, because I knew that I would have to climb the mountain while people like Pizza Boy is given the golden escalator to the same position that I’m aiming for.  Blue Collar?  You're nothing but a coward who couldn't be the one who spit in the food of a person who was mistreating you, instead you rely on others to step up and do the deeds that you're too afraid to do.  Instead of voicing your displeasure, you are nothing more than an annoying passive-aggressive note that is left hanging on a car that parked wrong.  You are a delivery of disappointment with an extra slice of false pretentious hope.  I'd rather eat Little Caesar's than trying to swallow the drivel that is coming out of your mouth because if it was me?  I would of cooked the Meat Lover's pizza, and I would of walked over to her table and greeted her with a great big pie directly in her face.  I would of threw some middle fingers around the room before I took off my shirt and threw it at my boss.  I'm the kind of man who knows when he is working in a toxic environment which is the reason why I'm no longer working to be the best.  I simply want to be paid so that I can go home to a loving family.  Yet, somehow Pizza Boy suddenly thinks that he is the little scrappy doo who has had to work all his life in order to get to where he is at?  Give me a break.  I'm sure that you still act chirpy and force a smile when you're being raped in the asshole like a good little stooge.

Your false hope is going to portray and image that anyone can step into the squared circle and become successful.  This isn't the American Dream and this business will tear people down into uncontrollable depths of depression and sadness.  The common man must go and get an education rather than struggle with a minimum wage job and decide to get into something so risky and without health benefits.  It's sickening and disgusting for anyone who has had to work under harsh conditions without a sense of recognition from their boss. No raise, no bonuses, no commissions.  Still stuck in the same old factory, risking life and limb to produce the items that you flaunt to the ring.

It's a shame that no one will see our little feud that's been building up because we do deserve for this match up to be produced on the big stage.  They won't pull the trigger though, because they think that you and I are nothing but lower card talent who are simply there to fill out the rest of the card every week.   We might be the main event of Battleground at some point because we simply are not relevant enough to be on a FPV card.  You really think that you'll be going in a progressive direction after we are done?  Not if no one sees it, which is a real shame because I would love to defeat you in front of as many people as possible.

Pizza Boy, we share a lot of commonalities that have come to fruition within the last couple of weeks. There's a storm brewing with the hierarchy of what is established and who holds the future of the company in their hands.  Our destinies keep being intertwined as if someone is holding the strings and making us eliminate each other instead of coming together in order to alleviate the problems that we are all facing.  Mitchell Street feels EXACTLY the same way that I do, and he knows that something fishy is happening to the talent on Showdown and why we are being pushed aside for the returning veterans who have yet to prove themselves since they came back.  Name value is starting to overturn talent and it's simple to see that we will never have the name value of someone like a Kevin Devastation and Hurricane Hawk.  Two talents who are right back in the scene of things even when they go on a hiatus.

My attacks on you were much more than simply making a statement.  I'm trying to reach out for you, in order to let everyone know that we are all talents that deserve respect.  I'm tired...I'm sick of the fighting...and I won't do it anymore unless we finally get treated equally.

Mitchell is a prize fighter and, every single week, I see him go out and bust his ass for the opportunity to become a contender...to become someone.  We have very similar backgrounds but I'm not going to respect your history Mitchell Street.  I was born to illegal immigrants and I fled to Japan without a cent in my pocket in order to train in the most elite dojos.  Street, going around and stating all the countries you trained in is never going to impress me because everyone struggles to get somewhere, but I'm excited that you acknowledge that the system is fucked up around here.  It's a shame that I'm going to have to destroy you because you are in the way of my win purse and the money that fuels me to come in and do my job. Congrats though, Mitchell. You are going to be on the pre-show, but Minns, Pizza Boy and myself HAVE NO FUCKING SPOT ON THE CARD.   You should be celebrating, you little shit.  The opportunity that you say you lack is staring at you right in the face and you continue to sulk, whine, and moan that it is not there. Ignorance coming from a kid who doesn't know everything that's been laid out for him.

Then again, you might be right, Mr. Street. There is no "big league" for us, there is nothing but a space where we fight like baboons while people throw peanuts.   We shouldn't be wrestling, we should be uprising against the status quo; going on a strike in order to show that we matter.

#Wrestlinglivesmatter
#StandwithSamurai
#GiveUsAChance

Minns doesn't let the losses get to him because he knows that wins and losses don't matter, simply because we are never going to go anywhere.  I respect him for that but this requires existential thinking, we need to go past the action of the squared circle and look into the social quandaries of professional wrestling.

WE ARE THE ONES IN CONTROL OF OUR DESTINY.  PIZZA BOY... MINNS.... MITCHELL STREET.  WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD, ESPECIALLY IN AN ERA OF OVER-SATURATED OPINIONS.  WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?  WHAT IS YOUR POINT?  OR DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO CHASE AFTER THE SO-CALLED "OPPORTUNITY" WHILE YOU FLIP FLOP BETWEEN BRANDS AND ARE NOTHING MORE THAN PAWNS IN THE HANDS OF JAMES SHIELD AND ZACK CRASH?
I can't quit because they have control of me.

All I can do is not care ...because it hurts too much when I do.....

Thoughts?

(This is my showdown promo for this week. words of advice would be very much appreciated)

"Damn That Hurt"

(Cloud is walking out of the Izod Center, rubbing her neck, sore from Madison's Afterlife clothesline. She is wearing a gray hoodie with black tights, and gray/pink sneakers. Over her shoulder is her gym bag. She is soon approached by a black middle aged woman and a young girl who is wearing a blue 'C9' shirt and a Yankees hat)

Girl: (runs) Cloooud!

Cloud: (excited) Lauryn!

(Cloud embraces the adorable ball of energy who bounces into her waiting arms. The mother, Sheila, stands by watching the scene with a weary smile.)

Cloud: How did you like the show you little munchkin? (Gives a brief noogie)

Lauryn: (giggles) It was awesome! You was flying all over! (Looks upward wearing a cheesy smile) The camera was on us when we high-fived!

Cloud: Really? I've got to check that out! How you been Sheila?

Sheila: I'm doing swell, considering (gestures at Lauryn)

Cloud: (nods) Did Serenity come?

Sheila: (shakes her head) Like usual. I brought one of Lauryn's friends with me. Matter of fact, baby could you go into the car with Jerome? Mommy wants to speak with Cloud for a moment.

Lauryn: (looks at Cloud) Are you gonna eat with us?

Cloud: I'm dead tired kid. I might come over tomorrow before I leave town.

(Lauryn hugs Cloud and runs towards a nearby red car)

Sheila: Thanks again for the tickets.

Cloud: No problem. It was my pleasure (watches Lauryn climb into the car). What did the doctor say?

Sheila: They don't want to do chemo yet, but they're confident that surgery will improve things. We're going to the hospital next week for more details.

Cloud: Well, at least that's something.

Sheila: (sighs) Yeah. I'm confident things will work out. Surprisingly, this is not what's stressing me out...

Cloud: Serenity?

Sheila: The girl is coming in all hours of the night, skipping school...I don't know what to do with her anymore.

Cloud: You think she's still hurting from Michael's absence?

Sheila: (stares off) We're all still hurting in some ways. But Lauryn though...for someone so small she's so strong...

Cloud: You're all tough as nails. But Sheila, if there's anything I can do-

Sheila: You've done more than enough for my family Cloud. I don't want to trouble you any more than I've had. Because you I'm no longer behind on bills, and the hospital is giving me extra hours.

Cloud: (hugs Sheila) Don't hesitate to ask if you're in trouble. Your husband has done so much for me. He's the reason why I'm in this business.

Sheila: (faintly smiles) He would be proud of how far you've come.

Cloud: (Blushing) with any luck, I'll make it even further.

Sheila: I think your talent will see to that (turns away, waving). We'll see you tomorrow? I have the day off.

Cloud: I'll see how I feel in the morning. I'm gonna feel that match in the morning.

Sheila: (laughs) You take care of yourself now you hear?

Cloud: I'll try (watches Sheila drive off while rubbing her neck). Man that hurt...

"Nature of The Business"

Several days later.

(A video pops up on the EAW site of Cloud addressing the EAW universe. She's wearing a navy hoodie with the hood over the head. Before speaking, she brushes aside her messy hair.)

Good morning EAW universe. As you can see, I look like dog shit, and I can assure you that I feel the same as well. I was recuperating for a few days when I discovered an email from booking. Apparently I'm going to be facing Raven Lee in a match on Sunday? So much for the week off.

(Laughs, and takes a sip from a sports bottle and raises it for a moment.)

Green Goodness for the win. Anyway, it seems I'm involved in some kind of "Specialist Scramble"? I don't know what the hell that is, but fuck it I'm down for whatever (coughs). Maybe it's a Vixen version of the pure tournament? Whatever it is, I intend to win it. Which brings me to you Raven Lee. I like you, I really do. We fought side by side in that 5-on-5, but now that's passed, I'm more concerned with the future. And part of that future involves another loss on your record via pinfall or submission.

(Takes a sip)

The ironic thing is that this is my first one on one in EAW. This leads to speculation about my abilities as a singles competitor. The girls backstage are all wondering who I am. In due time, I will show them, but you get first dibs.

(Wink and a smile)

This is usually the part of the promo where I talk trash about your wrestling skills, but honestly Raven I don't know much about you. There's nothing about you that stands out besides the tattoos and piercings, which by the way I have too. What's so special about me? Well besides my six year career on the indies I can be judged in EAW solely on one thing: Beating Vixens.

That's right Raven, you heard me right. So far, I've defeated two Vixens at the same time, and pinned two in a matter of seconds. You was there, you saw- no wait, you was half conscious on the floor. Don't feel so bad because so was I.

(rubs neck)

What I'm trying to say my dear friend is that I'll already proved that I'm a threat. A threat motivated by more than just simple glory (stares off into the distance for a moment. Turns back to the camera). Don't take this personal, it's just the nature of the business. One day you'll have your chance to reach the top. By then I'll be waiting- title in hand.

(turns off the web cam)

Voltage Promo #2 - Eye of the Tiger Lion

"You have a lot of spirit, you have a lot of motivation, you have a heart to be a wrestler." These are the comments I hear all the time in the locker room Nobi. People like Hades, Azumi Gato, Scott Oasis and even the Pure Champion himself Carson Ramsey tell me the same speech all the time, while this is the reason I get respected by most of the locker room in the back and I do appreciate the kind words sometimes those kind words get to my head. You see this is the point where I mess up every week, I fall into everyone of my opponents hands if giving words of encouragement and take that for granted and wrestle in the ring like we are good friends. Ashten Cross taught me a valuable lesson when he presented me with the Young Lions Cup trophy this past Sunday on Voltage and that is when you step in the Squared Circle all friendships go away, in the ring you need to care about yourself and need to concentrate on winning the match not to one up your best friend each time and see who is the better man that night. This week I will not make that mistake that I have been making since my debut here at the land of the elite, I learned a valuable lesson in rookie mistakes so far but people learn from there mistakes and make themselves better the next time around. Nobi I have been watching film on you a lot lately especially this week and there is no doubt in my mind you deserve to be challenger number one for the reestablished Young Lions Cup trophy that is exclusive to the Voltage brand, you even impressed me this past Sunday when you defeated another competitor in the New Breed division of Luke Reign. I am proud to be apart of this huge New Breed division especially with Voltage having a huge part of the division like yourself, Christian Locke and Phoenix Winterborn...You maybe right about me putting my blood, sweat and tears into this career change from amateur wrestling to professional wrestling it's because ever since I was a little kid I wanted to be in the wrestling business, I was hooked onto watching wrestling ever since I was five years old with my father and I made a promise to myself one day that I would make it here and make a name for myself. And look at that, seventeen years later I am a pro wrestler that just signed a long term deal with the biggest wrestling company their is today and I am the current holder of the Young Lions Cup trophy. While the long term contract and the trophy maybe sweet along with the money and fame, it just drives me more to succeed even more every single day. I want to be the biggest star I can be in this business and win championships, main event free per views, have awesome matches and most importantly have a main event match at the showcase of the immortals....Pain for Pride! While I may not main event Pain for Pride 9 this year, I still want to have my own Pain for Pride moment and perform at Sun Life Stadium in-front of a sold out crowd that holds near over a hundred thousand people screaming my name and feeling that adrenaline that night! Every single week I feel adrenaline coming down the aisle from all the Voltage fans from around the world and every time I talk to guys in the back that are veterans in this business like Mr. DEDEDE, Hades and even Y2Impact, they claim the adrenaline they feel on that stage is something that is special and that something can only be felt once a year and that's why Pain for Pride is so special. It's basically compared to the World Series, Super Bowl, NBA Finals and the Stanley Cup Final and that's why the weekend of July 1st will be huge for myself and everybody apart of Elite Answers Wrestling. But what else do I want? I want to make an impact on the showcase of the immortals, the biggest show of the year, I want my own moment, MY PAIN FOR PRIDE MOMENT! This Young Lions Cup is a step stool to lead me to the next challenge ahead of me and can cash it in against Piff for the New Breed Championship or against Carson Ramsey for the Pure Championship. The million dollar question is will I survive the five matches? Will I survive challenge number one this Sunday? You're damn right I am, whether it be on Voltage, Pain for Pride 9 or hell the EAW draft show the bottom line I am surviving these five New Breed bouts and will edge my name into championship gold. While I maybe looking ahead too far, the main goal is for this Sunday against you Nobi, I need to take one match at a time and I am starting with you.

I never said and is a known fact no one is perfect in this world, look at Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter, Babe Ruth, and even Joe Namath. Are they perfect? No but they were very special athletes that mastered the sport they played. No one is perfect but you always should live your life to the fullest and do the best you can every single day of your life. Everyone has there ups and downs, people need to learn from there mistakes and learn from them and that's how you become a better person in life. My highest high was probably this past week when I thought I was at the bottom of the totem pole but really I am reaching the top of the New Breed pole with Ashten Cross awarding me Young Lions Cup. I was shocked, emotional and happy at all the same time, when an executive in the back engraved my name into the trophy I knew this wasn't a dream and I knew this was for real and refuse to drop the ball one week after being rewarded this beautiful trophy. What was my lowest low so far though? Fighting Spirit 2. No question about it, New York City is the city that never sleeps and I am telling you right now after Fighting Spirit 2 ended I went out to dinner and went straight up to my hotel room and was tossing and turning all night and days forward. I couldn't get the image and sound out of my head, was just having flashbacks to when I was eliminated after I got rid of Hamau Koa he decides to come back inside the ring and attack me then Ryan Young does the dirty work by eliminating me and pinning me one....two....three! After not knowing where I was and rolling out of the ring I leaned up against the barricade and just heard crying and looked up and saw my parents with just tears in there eyes. Was it because they were proud of there son? Perhaps they were proud of me making it to the big leagues and making it to my first Super show that is shown across the world but they were sad I didn't exceed there expectations and came up short that night. My parents were so used to me winning wrestling matches back in college at The Ohio State University but I think reality finally hit them at Fighting Spirit 2 when they realized the transition for me was harder then they thought it was. My whole family has been on a roller coaster ride ever since I left amateur wrestling come here to the land of the elite, they have been right by my side dealing with recovering from my arm injury, sleepiness nights, getting sick on the European tour, dealing with the victories slipping my fingers every week but that roller coaster ride comes to an end this Sunday. Long Island, New York. Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. My grandparents may have grew up there but my parents currently live there on Long Island and will be front row this week cheering me on and I refuse to let the same outcome happen twice in a row. This Sunday isn't just about defending the Young Lions Cup but it's also dealing with my personal demons and getting this frustration off my chest. The only tears I want to see come out of my parents eye is when I defeat you Nobi this Sunday on Voltage and check challenger one off the list and I have step one out of five done. This is Redemption, this is time for me to become a winner, it's time build my own legacy! Doesn't matter when you faced Carson Ramsey, doesn't matter when the Pure Open Challenge was created, the only thing you need to know is that we both came up short that night and Ramsey was the better man. The Road to Redemption for me starts Sunday when you are the first leap ahead of me and I correct my rookie mistakes and make myself a bigger and better person. How cute are you though making my fun of my nickname that my friends gave me in college? The Wrestling Machine is my nickname for a reason, do you want to know why I was awarded the Young Lions Cup? It's because the Voltage executives see potential in me and see I am the future of this company and will wrestle my heart out until I am no longer physically able to and people learned that when I faced Carlos Russo for the CWF World Heavyweight Championship on Battleground a few weeks ago. I will gladly use The Machine Break if needed and take you out of the New Breed division right away and send you to the injury shelf with a broken arm, I respect you as a man Nobi but this Sunday all bets are off. Once that ring bell rings it's game time and I refuse to play mister nice guy, my emotions are going to be let out like a young lion...no pun intended. Get ready for a fight of your life, by the way you are the one that's gonna need the luck so I don't hope I put you out of your misery for good!

Every single time in this company.....EVERY SINGLE DAMN TIME! Now this is a direct message to all of the Dynasty executives out there who don't want to give me what they promised. You better give me something good for Reckless Wiring because all of your jobs depend on it, my name hasn't been signed on the dotted line. I was told multiple.....MULTIPLE TIMES now that I would be named number one contender backstage but every damn week I have to fight for the number one contender-ship in Battle Royals, Fatal 4 Way matches, whatever the match is I DON'T NEED TO BE FIGHTING FOR OPPORTUNITIES! How come old timers just walking back into this fucking company and just being handed everything on a silver plate? Heart Break Boy came back to Dynasty a few months ago and was given a World Heavyweight Championship match against Jacob Senn and lost! Then gets a Hall of Fame Championship match at Reasonable Doubt against Devan Dubian? How about Robbie V? A person I respect the hell out of but just walks back into Showdown and gets handed a main event match against Jaywalker INSIDE HELL IN A CELL? BUT PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF WHO HAS BEEN BUSTING MY ASS JUST FOR A SPOT ON A FREE-PER-VIEW CARD HAS TO CLIMB A FUCKING MOUNTAIN? TITLE SHOTS SHOULD BE HANDED TO ME AT THIS POINT! I AM THE TALENT THAT SHOULD BE ON POSTERS, I SHOULD BE MAIN EVENTING PAIN FOR PRIDE TEN! I SHOULD BE INTERWIRE CHAMPION! ......Everyone knows I made it in time before the referee hit three in that Fatal 4 Way match when Methuselah was going for that pinfall but NO the decision hasn't been reversed yet! I AM ONE OF THE BEST AMATEUR WRESTLERS IN HISTORY SHOW ME SOME DAMN RESPECT IN THIS COMPANY THAT'S ALL I ASK FOR EACH AND EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE LOCKER ROOM! ....Ever since I was a little boy all I cared about was professional wrestling, when I would have a horrible day at school I would go home and watch wrestling because that's the one I loved in life besides other sports. To this day I am forever grateful for having the best job in the world to live my dream and wrestle as my daily job and bringing out my eight year old self when I am inside in that Squared Circle. But some people in this locker room don't respect my work, people like Lucian Black don't even love this sport! They were just meat heads and had no place to go besides this! I have all the tools to success and yet I am treated like a piece of garbage especially on Dynasty. Back at the draft lottery my life honestly turned upside down and felt like a person lost in the woods. I felt like someone that had a bright future and then Aria Jaxon shattered my dreams into a million pieces when I lost that Young Lions Cup. I was two.....TWO DAMN VICTORIES AWAY FROM GETTING MY NEW BREED CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH! I was going to cash that baby in right away and get to hold more gold like it was a newborn baby but no that trophy is now a disgrace...Not only did the trophy end up in the hands of Aria Jaxon but it also HASN'T BEEN CASHED IN YET! SHE IS WELL PASSED HER FIVE WINS AND HAS YET TO CASH THAT TROPHY IN AND NOW IS GOING AFTER THE VIXENS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP? THAT TROPHY IS NOTHING TO HER BUT IT CAN BE A MILLION BUCKS TO SOMEONE ELSE ON THIS ROSTER LIKE NOBI OR ANY UP AND COMING NEW BREED STARS!

....Pain for Pride 9...Sun Life Stadium....Miami, Florida. The Event of a Lifetime. The biggest match of my wrestling career happened on Night Two on July 2nd when I represented the New Breed Division against The Vixens Division. Myself and New Breed Champion at the time JJ Silva physically carried the team on our backs that night after the rest of our team including a man who disappeared from this promotion, a pot head, and a women who should have been on the Vixens Team decided to not even show up that week at any of the press conferences...I had one of the sickest entrances in history by sitting on a live lion down the ramp but is nearly four on two at this point and and we lost that night because I had to count on my team mates. I DON'T WANT OR NEED TEAM MATES IN THIS BUSINESS, I ONLY NEED TO COUNT ON MYSELF ONLY! THIS IS ALL ABOUT ME BECAUSE THE WRESTLING MACHINE IS GOING TO BE ON TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN ONCE DYNASTY SEE'S ME DESTROY EL IRONICO THIS WEEK! ...When the actual draft was going on all my friends that I was called up onto the main roster with, Carson Ramsey....Kenny Drake all of them were drafted to Voltage which was the same brand I started out on and I wanted to be with my family that I grew with but everything changed that night when I was drafted to Dynasty. I felt like an outsider, I felt like I was a piece of dirt and I was continuing to get stepped on all over the place. The first week or two going into Dynasty each week I just felt sick to my stomach and one person decided to guide me to the right direction in life and his name is Scott Oasis. My backstage relationship with Scott Oasis gave me a whole new world to look at because he taught me so many things in this world and the one major thing I learned from Scott was that......THE FANS MEAN NOTHING TO ME! YOU SHOULD ONLY CARE ABOUT YOURSELF AND CARE ABOUT YOUR STOCK RISING TO THE TOP! ....And I want to thank Scott personally for everything he did for me, I can complain all I want about the Dynasty management and that bullshit but this week on Dynasty my job is simply to show management to take out there checkbooks for the right reasons and write me a check for the biggest contract in history. El Ironico is about to take a quick trip to the hospital after you're done with me because you are gonna be crying for your mommy once I BREAK THAT ARM OF YOURS!

MI #3
(The Final product of a promo that should have been out of last night, but sleep is a bitch and Razz I didn't get my allnighter coffee. Any kind of Advice is always a big thing for me.)

(Azumi is seen at the Korakuen Hall, the prestigious sporting arena for all different types martial arts, combat sports including Pro Wrestling as evidence of Dynasty and selling out the arena two nights ago. The hall means a lot to her, childhood memories of watching the greats to matches in the very arena.)

Apparently, I suck… well at least in her mind I do but who cares… cuz I don’t. I give zero fucks about what you think about me as a wrestler. So what’s next, do you have anything else on me or should I get started trashing everything you’ve done. Firstly what do you mean by “talent”? Firstly being talented is overrated, it’s probably because I was brought up in a different part of the Pro Wrestling that I think that but in wrestling, the word “talent” is nothing, nobody would care if you have natural talent. It’s only if you’re actually someone who has the will to hone your skills and perfect them. Being talented will make you one thing, it’s going to give you the easy shortcut to success and I rather not want that. I’ll get called being called a talentless hack from someone like you but in the end, I don’t care. Being talented is going give you a free pass to the destination which in this case is to the top of Empire. I’ll take the scenic route, Cameron, because in the end I’ll still be a future EAW Women’s World Champ and you can then start eating your words. You can start all by coming up with material about The Ace Of The Women’s Division. Try it all you want, but Cam the way I’m taking it’s just the scenic route to the top that I’m taking if I wanted to be talented and say I’m something like a “Once In A Century Talent” but I won’t CUZ BEING TALENTED IS OVERRATED. This isn’t a period of time where people who have Natural Talent to step up. Oh no, It’s the time right for people who are willing and constantly willing to improve.

(Azumi slowly makes her way down to the seats of the top row where the clear shot of a smaller Japanese Promotion is setting up the ring. She takes a seat and even places her legs on top of the another seat.)

BUT LEXI!!! I’ve always hated dolls… no seriously Mommy Dearest, I could care less about them. Show us the skills you picked when you got your skull bashed in for all we care, we’ll just laugh them off. And you are right! At least I have wins that are my own, everything I see you win. It’s with everyone else in your Circus Show of a group but also when your group loses, it’s apparently you who takes the fall. ALL THE DAMN TIME! Maybe it pops in your mind when you’re pretty much the WEAK LINK of your group and no one would care if you retire or continue your career. No one would care if you wrestled for this company or you didn’t because YOU HAVE NO LASTING LEGACY HERE. You’ll always be known as Eclipse’s wife, or the Weak Link or the woman that should be training instead of picking up weird hobbies.

(Her tone unchanged from her usual cocky nature as she sighs having to realize who has to talk about next.)

Sophia Rose… How no one missed you. The hype is gone, Miss Sophia Rose. The hype left the moment when Maddison of all people was the one to put you out of commission in EAW. The moment you had left, people thought “oh… someone left”. You probably couldn’t handle all that hype that you had before, Maybe because you aren’t what meets the eye. I personally liked you when you said nothing and only wore a mask. Because like most Luchadores and Luchadoras, we tried to seek the mystery of the person behind the mask, learn the person’s identity,  But now that it’s you… Meh. Throw her in the trash bin where all the hyped-up, overrated vixens go like our good friend, SHERIDAN MULLER. No one cares about you and your thing with Maddie cuz it’s not even on the top card of the whole show. It’s some lower card petty squabble that could be resolved if our GM actually knew how to make cards.

(She lowers down the hat on your head to cover her face to block the lights from ruining her rest period)

Kendra Shamez EVERYONE!

Apparently, I’m stale in her eyes… So. Does it matter in the end when it’s coming to some woman who will just constantly look down upon others and doesn’t know that one day sees she’ll have to look up on those same women. Give your regards to your husband from me.  I’m not going to try to change what I am, Kendra. It’s something that I’m unable to do… I just don’t have it on me to change the move I look or anything. I like being what I am, so call me insignificant all you want. I. COULD. CARE. LESS. I wouldn’t care about what you thought of me in million years. Whether it be as a top rookie or some Joshi with no real importance of the card of Empire. Right, I’ve already got a free title shot in my Control Briefcase, another free one added to my collection wouldn’t be too bad of an idea, Kendra. Maybe use one in getting the Women’s Title and the other in getting the Specialist Title. Maybe doing the title justice unlike you, hurting the title’s prestige by what… defending it only once. Sure it was a Glass-whatever match but only once Mrs. Shamez-Vendetta. One defense is all that defines your title reign and I don’t care how much you tell us that you have more reigns as champ than most of the of girls but we all know this is your last hurrah, Kendra. It’s about time to put the nail in the coffin for this career of yours.

(Azumi slowly gets up from her seat and walks towards with her hands in her sweater pockets whistling “Am I Savage” by Metallica. The sign that the more unrestrained side could be let out soon.)

Oh, I wish someone would have told me about this thread before. I'd absolutely love some feedback/advice on my first real roleplay in EAW if anyone would be so kind. I think I have a totally different style to everyone else and I'm probably never going to roleplay more than once a week, but I stopped writing competitively years ago and now only write for fun, so I don't care if I never win. xD Still, I'm always open for critique...

"Apparently, I suck… well at least in her mind I do but who cares… cuz I don’t. "

-Firstly, use speech marks to signify your character is speaking. The use of "..." isn't necessary, if your character pauses use ";" or a simple comma however if your character is thinking about what she's going to say- tell the audience that.

"Firstly being talented is overrated, it’s probably because I was brought up in a different part of the Pro Wrestling that I think that but in wrestling, the word “talent” is nothing, nobody would care if you have natural talent."

-You're giving yourself a weakness and asking to be shot by your opponent.

-Tell the readers that your character is shouting or expressing emotions with her words. Don't resort to capitals however if you really, really want to use them once to amplify the emotion of a sentence.

PostSubject: Re: Promo Lessons thread.   FreeAurora - Promo Lessons thread. - Page 5 EmptyFebruary 27th 2017, 1:48 pm

Hey guys,

I am posting my latest promo. Would appreciate some feedback on that

Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Mike Showman and I am the Prince of trash talk, the man who gives no shits, the person with class and most importantly, I am the Leader of the New Generation. Last week when I stepped inside the ring, I defeated Nasir Moore in a no disqualification match and in the process, shut his big mouth up completely. Before our match on Voltage, talked about doing a lot of things to us, the People with Class, to Jon McAdams and me but he ended up getting his ass handed to him by me and my best friend. We outsmarted him inside that ring and even though he tried to humiliate my friend, I made sure that he was the one who ended up getting humiliated. But hey, that’s enough about Nasir Moore. A guy like Moore does not deserve to have his name spoken by someone like me, someone with class. He is a mediocre wrestler, a man who sells himself out to fans by calling himself a so called ‘underdog’ and displaying such a wide smile that it almost makes me want to throw up. But hey, here is an interesting fact for you all, you know who else smiles and does the silliest of things known to a man? A whore! Yes, a whore would do whatever you want her or him to do and you know the motivation behind such a thing? Money. That’s right, a whore does everything for money and the more you pay, the more she plays. So Nas here does all of this because he too is a whore, a whore who is looking for some attention, looking for some fame and recognition. Now all of the things that I mentioned just now becomes a hell of a lot easier if one just knows how to do the thing for which they are a hired in this company, wrestle. If you are a good wrestler, just like me, then people will look at you, just as they are looking at me, no matter how ugly you look. But hey, don’t even consider for a second that I am an ugly man because as far as I know, all your daughters and wives fantasize about me in the night or in the day. But anyways, as I said before, Nas has no wrestling ability nor does he have charisma and so he has chosen this way as the only possibly path through which he can stay relevant in this company.

But hey, like I said before, Nas is an important topic in my list and so we will speak about him some time later. Let us talk instead about something which draws attention and money all by itself and without any enhancements, the People with Class. For those of you idiotic sons of bitches who do not know, the People with Class is a movement that began because of the strong friendship exhibited between Jon McAdams and me, Mike Showman. You see, we are some of the classiest people in that Voltage locker room and so we decided to band up together so that we can usher in some class and civility to that locker room and make Voltage one of the must see shows in EAW. While many people might have done many things in order to get noticed but we are simply carving our own way amidst all these false and talentless people and that too by crushing the so called ‘rules’ and ‘norms’ of this company that were established a long time ago by some frail old men. With us, there is no question of enhancements, what you see is what you get. We don’t like to interact with people outside the wrestling domain as we find them repulsive and so even when we are walking down to the ring to perform in a Voltage or a pay per view match, we make no attempt whatsoever to interact with the so called ‘fans’. Outside the wrestling domain, we are successful and live a far better life than almost everyone in this country and even when we are inside the ring, we find ways to be successful in almost any situation we find ourselves in. that is what makes us unique, makes us special and so each and every week people tune in to watch us whether they like us or not. Oh and also, there is another thing People with Class is good at and that is, beating the shit out of people. You see, even though we are relative newcomers, we have beaten half the Voltage roster. Guys like Ramsay, Drastik, Caine, Fournier and now even Nas have been beaten by us. People think that just because we are a rookie group, they can easily walk over us but guess what, the rules of the game have changed. While that may have been a possibility many years ago, at this time, that won’t work

Oh and while we are on the subject of beating people up and especially Nas, I realize that this week, a number of things might happen because of Nas’ loss last week on Voltage. Nas may call us out and talk tough just like he did two weeks ago. Or he may man up once again and try to fulfill his ‘promise’ of ‘beating’ the People with Class by facing my best friend Jon McAdams. Well to tell the truth, both options are acceptable to me because in both cases, Nas is destined to be the loser. Because we all know that if you come and face us again Nas the result will be same as last week and even if you come out and confront us, we will make sure that you get a severe beating. But hey, heyyyy now that I talk about choices and make predictions about ‘our’ immediate future, I kind of know what is going to happen next week. You see Nas, I might have called you a whore and while that is accurate characterization, you also have a tendency of playing the hero. So we might as well call you a heroic whore. These people have made you a hero, the man who will save them from all their problems, a man who will make sure that at the end of day they have something to be cheerful about about rightfully sucking at their jobs. So yeah, because of the amount of flattery involved, you have tendencies always lead you to doing something stupid, something that always complicates things for you. Like two weeks ago you decided to play the hero and call us both out and one week later, you stand as a man who is 0-1 against the PwC. So I know that this week too, you will blindly jump into a situation that will in turn consume you and will leave you will scarred in one way or the other for the rest of your life. Nas, you are not a smart guy because if you would have been you would have realized that in the real world, there are no heroes or villains, there are only winners and losers. Now, these people who cheer for you are simple minded and so they always need a role model whom they can follow but real men, like those in the People with Class, do not need such things. Like I said before, we have carved our own way and that path has cut through and destroyed a lot of things that were considered as ‘rules’ in EAW but still, we have moved on and now, here we stand as one of the must see teams in this company.

Nas, here is another thing that I want you to consider. What happens when these people stop treating you like a hero? What happens when the people grow tired of fucking you and go find themselves a new whore? You see, these people of this generation grow tired of things pretty quickly and as a result, you will see them queuing up in front of stores to buy a ‘new’ thing every now and then even though they have multiple copies of the same. So, what happens when they decide to move away from you and choose someone else? How will you stay relevant then? We all know that when it comes to winning the big one or beating relevant men, you are a failure because of your limited wrestling ability and so what strategy will you adopt then? Let me tell you from now on that the People with Class won’t be accepting you as we don’t want a whore among us. So…will you turn into…the villain? Will you turn on these people, the same people who once cheered for you? Do you have the guts to do so Nasir Moore? Do you have the guts to destroy the legacy that you have established as an underdog? If you ask me, then the answer to that is no. You are a spineless, gutless man who can never rise up to get the big prize. You will forever stay the underdog and not for once be looked up as the ‘Big Dog’. You are a guy who is fit to be stamped upon and the People with Class will do exactly the same no matter how many times we encounter you. And trust me when I tell you, once we are done destroying you, you will spiral down into a dark and gloomy world with nothing but darkness and nightmares as your companion

See you tomorrow, Heroic Whore.

Just getting this out of the way, but no matter how articulate your scene is, you are never going to win a match solely because of whatever setting you're depicting your character in. It doesn't matter how creative it is, or how the gleaming sun accentuates the vibrance of the meadows and surrounding cherry blossoms. Settings can be nice for the imagination, but if you are going to write a scenic promo, make damn sure you can effectively transition wherever you happen to be at to something that is relevant to wrestling. At the end of the day, this isn't a movie, and if all you do is ramble on about your frivolous daily life exploits and adventures, your writer is going to skip that shit and ctrl+f to mentions of your opponent's name in your promo. On the other end of the spectrum, scenes can be excellent if they mesh and synchronize well with the wrestling theme of our e-fed. Drake Jaeger, Eclipse and TLA are probably the best examples I can think of that do this well, all the while simultaneously developing their character. The bottom line? If you are unable to dissect your opponent and you consistently find yourself on the losing end of matches, focus on how your opponent's points against you contrast with yours against him/her. I can almost guarantee that you aren't losing because your scene wasn't "detailed enough." I would take the very simplest scene with the most incisive paragraphical rhetoric over the most convoluted scene with lowbrow, passé paragraphical rhetoric every single time.

Updating this cause people are stealing the thunder from my post

Reckless Wiring Promo #1 - Bow Down...

Bravo.....bravo Dynasty executives we are finally on the same page and I got the biggest contract anyone has ever received in Dynasty history. Last Friday I had a huge pay day that went straight into my banking account and the purchases are keep coming in....brand new gear, my own private jet, but the one thing money can't buy is championship gold and this Sunday if and when I get voted into the Hell's Warpath Match I will destroy everyone in my path, I don't care if you're Jacob Moore, Cody Marshall or any other no names that get voted into this match will be destroyed and sent to the emergency room immediately. But we can we all be a little honest here about myself? While I tried and succeeded by the way in tying up Dynasty executives giving me the biggest contract in history if they didn't do the right thing and give me a big marquee match at Reckless Wiring, money isn't the thing that makes me happy. For all those punks out there who think that I wasn't going to leave I had a multiple year deal on the table both from Voltage and Showdown so I would shut your mouth fast. Let me just say yeah money is really nice in life but does it drive me everyday to go to the ring and wrestle? Sort of but I can get even more money if I win championship gold and this has been my biggest leap of faith ever since I arrived here at Elite Answers Wrestling and that's I can't win the big one. A lot of people don't know this but I have been going through a dark time in my life, I broke up with my girlfriend over the summer and my Aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. My time of luck is one thing to blame on and that is Aria Jaxon.....Pain for Pride and the EAW Draft were the two worst weeks of my life as a wrestler. I AM THE WRESTLING MACHINE AND I AM USED TO WINNING, I AM THE MOST SUCCESSFUL NCAA DIVISION I HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION IN HISTORY! The thing about myself is that I am used to winning, Pain for Pride 9 in Miami was the biggest week in my life as I was starstruck by the Divide and Conquer match against the Vixens Team just entering down the aisle on that lion was awesome and it was something I will never forget but having to carry that team along with JJ Silva was like my worst nightmare when it was us two against the rest of the division. I will admit walking into Sun Life Stadium that night I was nervous as hell but adrenaline can do a lot for you and that's what I was running on throughout that match and I was really feeling it with Silva. Even though we were down in numbers I felt like we were the dream team and we could conquer the world, until my Pain for Pride moment crashed and burned BECAUSE OF ALL THOSE FAILURES ON MY TEAM THAT I CARRIED, LIKE THAT POT HEAD AND VENOM WHO ISN'T HERE ANYMORE! Pain for Pride was a nightmare that I just entered that I couldn't get out of and the nightmare later continued onto the EAW Draft on Battleground. ARIA JAXON RUINED EVERYTHING FOR ME, SHE TOOK MY TROPHY AND I WAS DRAFTED AWAY FROM VOLTAGE THANKS TO HER! I WAS TWO VICTORIES AWAY FROM BECOMING CHAMPION! THE NEW BREED DIVISION WAS MINE TO TAKE ON A SILVER PLATTER AND SHE RUINED THAT! SHE HAD MY WORLD IN HER HANDS AND ALL SHE HAD TO DO WAS LAY DOWN FOR THE THREE COUNT BUT NO SHE HAD TO FIGHT BACK AND RUIN MY LIFE AND SHE DID THAT! Now Aria Jaxon has had that Young Lions Cup trophy for six months now and hasn't done a damn thing with it. It's like a piece of garbage she's carrying around that she doesn't want to throw away because it has no value anymore. After that night I never recovered for the next few weeks I tried and begged to get a rematch for that Young Lions Cup but I was told for multiple weeks that I not only have to start from the bottom and make my way back up but I no longer can challenge for the cup since it's only on Voltage now, I can only challenge for the New Breed Championship. Every match I wrestled after that I felt like garbage, I started getting sick and I just had enough after feeling worthless. The night I nearly broke Kelly Hackenschmidt's arm was the night the pain went started to go away and it finally felt good to put people in my shoes.

After weeks of trying I just released months of built anger that was building up ever since I arrived here at Elite Answers Wrestling. Now your asking yourself months? He just went on about multiple weeks of being a man that was broken but you don't understand what it's like just walking backstage when you first arrive to this company, people looking at you and laughing because you are the newbie around here. Not only that I was a newbie but months would go on and after the nightmare of a week I had at Pain for Pride and EAW Draft, I would walk into the Dynasty locker room each week and people backstage would say I was never good enough to be a top star in this company, I will never be good enough to win championship gold, I will never be good enough to deal with my personal demons....There is nothing worse then losing in this world because losing is like dealing with a family death I just want to succeed in this world and WHILE DOING THAT I WANT TO BREAK EVERYONE'S STUPID FACE IN THE PROCESS! I AM THE WRESTLING MACHINE, I DESERVE TO BE RESPECTED IN THIS COMPANY! So to shut everyone up I needed to prove everyone wrong and to myself I was better then Aria Jaxon, I was better then being New Breed Champion, I was good enough to be Interwire Champion. All this time I was telling the world that I was your future Interwire Champion but honestly I could give two shits less about that title, I could give about Mister DEDEDE or Methuselah now whatever is wrong with that dude. While that title is beautiful, the New Breed Championship is way more prestiguous because it has brought people's careers to new heights including most Hall of Famers that have stepped foot in the squared circle. I AM HERE TO CREATE A LEGACY, NOT TO FOOL AROUND AND LEAVE AFTER THREE MONTHS OF DOMINATING THE ROSTER, I AM HERE TO STAY! I AM HERE TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIP GOLD, I AM HERE TO HAVE MY OWN PAIN FOR PRIDE MOMENT AND I AM HERE TO GAIN RESPECT THAT I DESERVE FROM EACH AND EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF THE DYNASTY ROSTER! So every single person that is voting for Reckless Wiring I beg you that you vote me in and let me destroy your fan favorites and let me take the prize postion I have been chasing ever since I arrived here in this damn company. Time continues to tick and it's only a matter of days before that championship title gets put around my waist, get ready to bow down to your future champion.

I said I would read yo promo last time but then got busy and forgot. My bad I'll comment on this one tho.

I actually like the idea of you as a rage machine. Like a guy who is constantly pissed off at everything and everyone whether he has a good reason to be or not. Your promos come off basically as angry rants and I feel that style works for you better than a lot of the other shit you've tried like being a dark character, or an all american amateur wrestler, etc. I'd say you should focus on whenever someone says something that could even piss your character off in the slightest just go off on a raging rant. You can do a lot with that cuz Samoa Joe is intimidating as fuck so him being enraged would be intense. It could also be hilarious if you do it right but I'd recommend focusing on raging as much as possible.

I'm not sure how you feel about scene promos but you could do also do scene promos sometimes of Lucas intimidating different people and raging on them to really sell it.
