| Seriously, Rollins' one saving grace as a character is gone. As big of a pussy they made him, they took away the one demonstrative part about him. That finisher makes the Attitude Adjustment look like the Tombstone Piledriver. |

| I hate it. Generic finisher that isn't really a finisher. I think if they made it more like a pedigree and not a lame DDT, it could work. Even an impaler DDT would be cooler.
At this point I'm just hoping he starts using the Phoenix Splash. |

| I've tried to justify it so much that my head hurts even thinking about it. "Seth's too dangerous with that curb stomp, never mind he knows how to shift his weight and is a fucking ninja. Let's give him a move that's going to still focus on the head, but instead, seem wrecklessly accidental and literally throw all of his body weight on top of his opponent. Good meeting!"
Besides that, I like the idea of it more than the execution. It looks like the antithesis of Ambrose's Dirty Deeds, which I love because there's some weird lucha-like symmetry there for me. It also looks like a half-and-half pedigree, for lack of a better term, which feeds into his weasel suck up character. It also somewhat makes sense for him to change the move after being RKO'd into space...that would be, at least, if they hadn't banned the RKO at Extreme Rules. Also, from a pragmatic,non-fan boy, old school mentality, a heel shouldn't have such an over move to begin with.
But my opinion without trying to justifying the means to the end is that HOW DO YOU GET RID OF A MOVE YOU'VE BUILT UP LIKE A BOSS!?! How do you ditch something that's been not only built up as, but also looks like, the most dangerous move in the WWE? Stupid. |
