IT'S OPENING DAY IN BASEBALL! So with that in mind, it is time to prediction the division winners and two wild-card teams from each league. So without a further a do: AL East: Toronto Blue Jays AL Central: Chicago White Sox AL West: Seattle Mariners AL Wildcard # 1: Kansas City Royals AL Wildcard # 2: Los Angels Angels NL East: Washington Nationals NL Central: Pittsburgh Pirates NL West: Los Angels Dodgers NL Wildcard #1: St. Louis Cardinals NL Wildcard #2: San Diego Padres --- Darkhorse to consider: Arizona Diamondbacks -- they're getting back the 4th best position player in the MLB in Paul Goldschmidt, along with a superior supporting cast. Pitching might be the achilles heel, though. We'll see - shall be a fun year. NL is vastly superior than the AL, though. That much is obvious right now, on opening day.

I know nothing about the Mariners but I will be following them this season due to them being the closest team to me.

Adrian Gonzalez with five home runs just three games into the season, including his last game in which he had three home runs. The kind of hot streak that makes you believe in hot streaks.
