What's the reasoning behind your choice? Discuss.

If I had a magic red button with which I could end all of my troubles in life, of course I'd have no reason not to press it, but what happens after I do? Nothing is difficult. Nothing is worth struggling for. I have the ability to press it into existence with the push of a mere button. That's the thing; half of the satisfaction in gaining things you want is knowing you worked as hard as you possibly could to get there and it paid dividends.

Respected. To me loved and respect are a lot alike in this case. for people only respect people they look u to or care about.

Loved or respected, but I'd rather earn that than to just make it happen so easily.

Fear comes with negativity, Love comes with unpredictability, but Respect is Respect. I choose that any day of the week.

Loved. I'd have so much free stuff.

I'm conflicted between love and respect, I think I actually prefer respect BUT I think I can establish respect in people around me more than I can love so I think an automatic all love me bonus would serve me better since I'd lack it more otherwise.

Respected although I'd love to be feared.

Respect.  I've done everything in my power to get it, and I still don't have it.

Respect. Fear is something that's bound to come back at you later down the line, love is something that will blind you in the long run, but respect is something I find valuable. A person doesn't have to like you to respect you, a person who respects you will be there when you need them, and respect is something that will go a long way for you. It's hard to get, but hopefully with what I've done over the time I've spent in EAW, I've earned the respect of enough people here.

If I started with one and was able to gain the other two through other means, I'd choose to be feared. To be feared commands a level of respect (in most cases of fear, I'll get to the exception) that's fairly hollow, but the fact that respect exists within fear can work as a starting point to build trust; someone that you fear is a lot less scary when you know they're on your side. From that, respect and love may eventually come. It'd take a lot of long, hard work and a lot of misery in the process, but that's not too different from what most people experience in life. And, even small gains of respect and love feel like a hell of a payoff. The one exception - the instance where fear doesn't involve any respect at all - is when enough people hate you to the point where they're courageous enough to band together against you. That's definitely a bad situation, but I don't think being hated inherently comes with being feared.

And, respect on its own just seems kinda hollow. So you're looked up to as a superior by your peers - puff your chest in pride a few times, and after that, big whoop.
