| Do you
a) think you need to change something about your character b) keep your chin up and move on, trusting in the process c) become unmotivated by one or two losses d) other (please explain if you choose this option) |

| I curl up into a fetal position on the floor, slowly work myself into a crying fit, then when I run out of tears drink myself to death with a ton of Dr. Pepper while eating ice cream out of the container while singing "All By Myself" as the second wave of tears comes.
But in all honesty it's B.) |

| I always try to incorporate it into some kinda storyline. After all playing a typically underdog-esque character you're gonna face some losses. I mostly base my characters out with a blank canvas and always try to see what kind of story I can build around the result while keeping the gritty realism I tend to write into the character. Despite my character's rather vanilla nature, my intention is always to build a storyline with whatever writer I have been given. |

Sort of a toxic blend between A and C. I generally will bitch and moan on Skype to my echo chambers, become passive aggressive on main, complain to my writer and leave hints towards retirement or a complete character revamping. I kind of blame everyone else first but then start to blame myself and self pity and wallow in order to garner sympathy. Next thing you know it, I'm World Champion. |

I always believe that if I lose, there was something deficient in my work for that week. The other guy surely promoed better and so I try to find that out and the next time, work on where I lacked things. |

| I'm whatever the writer needs me to be to make the storyline work. Like naturally, I would deny the loss to further make my character serious, but not taken seriously, which only makes it easier for people to promo against. But if the writer after the show talks to me and say, "You need to turn or work with this" and I'll be like, alright. Change a character? Sure. Keep being arrogant? Can Do! Take the loss hard. I'm going to make you weep and win an Oscar. At this point, I feel like everyone should know how their character would react to basic situations like winning, losing, getting screwed, etc. Failure in EAW, to me, is only if you are no longer having fun, but working with the writer to move storylines forward tends to be a pretty fun process. |

| I suppose D.) Use it as a motivator. I've lost quite a few times in EAW and those losses aren't necessarily a bad thing. Frustrating, but losses give me new things to work with. A new way to explore my character. So it becomes motivation to improve my own writing and myself. |

| D) I try to figure out why I failed and then how I can avoid failing again for those reasons in the future.
Also B) somewhat cuz I ain't gonna let shit get me down but don't gotta be 100% trusting in "the process". Gonna call bullshit out when I sees it. |

| Option B, I guess? I get bummed for a sec, but if it furthers a storyline, then I'm just glad I'm being used.

| A mixture of B & D honestly, i trust my process of character development but taking a loss or not being booked on a card makes me feel I may need to work a little harder. |

| I do a little of all three.
I'll usually take a look at my character and see if there is some way that I can use this to tweak him a bit, to become more proud or more irritated and upset or if this means hes going in a new direction of some kind. I'll try to analyze my opponents and myself and see what they did right or what I may have done wrong to try and change it next time. And after a brief moment I'll decide that one or two losses isn't really a moment thats going to define or change things and just keep chugging along but always attempting to take something from it, even if its really small. |
