| I read this article (and saw the video) where Sozzi believes that the WWE is still doomed despite Vince McMahon stock improved by 20% and that the WWE Network is succeeding right now when it reached it's One Million mark this past week. But he believes that the only reason why it has reached that mark is because of the free promos, even that hasn't proven it had the ability to attract paying customers. The three points that Sozzi focused on that he believes why WWE is still doomed is because of
- Aging Talents - That they have been relying on their older talents to make the to draw in fans like Ric Flair, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Big Show, Kane, John Cena, Stone Cold, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman etc. And that not many fans doesn't have that much connections to the newer talents. Like Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins.
- Injuries -He pointed out that basically too many wrestlers on the roster has been injured and it has happened way too often. Notably Daniel Bryan who got injured at the wrong time of his career. Which could be the reason why ticket sales has dropped off and the attendance at live events has also dwindled
- Finding an Heir to Vince McMahon's throne - He believes that even though Vince is a genius in what he does, he believes this also makes him a huge liability which poses the question. "If Vince dies today, who takes over?" So basically alluding to that their isn't a set heir to his kingdom
Your thoughts on this? Do you agree? Disagree? Anything Vince can do to save his company or do you think that it's fine as it is. I mostly think that WWE is mostly trying to keep their old demographic they had back during the attitude era. Which I feel it's kinda ironic that most of the wrestlers that were huge in that era or (post attitude era/ruthless aggression era) are still prominent in today's WWE. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/3-reasons-the-wwe-is-doomed-143618421.html |

| No.
The first two are nothing new. They've replaced older talent before and they will do so again. A decade ago I doubt there were many who thought someone like Cena could be the top face of the company yet it's hard to think of a WWE where he doesn't exist as such. Admittedly they've dropped the ball with most character development however that comes down to pure perspective.
Injuries happen all the time. Considering Edge, Orton and Cena were the biggest stars since 2005 (Not including Punk given it wasn't even half), more often then not we were without all three being healthy whether it was due to injury or time off. Point is the WWE, like aging talent, adjust and get through it. The only thing that the WWE hasn't encountered is having to replace Vince and it seems at least now that Steph/Triple H will take over.
Having to make cuts here and there is obviously something no fan wants to see but their production value hasn't changed, they can still create atmospheres unmatched in the world for Wrestlemania, they can still book major sporting arenas. They're fine. They're not as strong as they could or even should be, but doomed? No. |

| HHH will be ready to take over. He has shown with NXT he knows how to produce a good product. |

| What Starr said. Regardless though, WWE will be able to glide on just because of its name. |

| I don't see it dying anytime soon. They have too many assets they can sell off if income goes downhill. WCW was huge and died because of bad business practices but WWE is very good at doing business even if their product is lacking. To put it another way, if NJPW, LU, and TNA can all get television deals then WWE doesn't have much to worry about for anything short of a major corruption scandal. |

| They are not doomed because they have no real competition. People will keep watching content and subscribing to WWE network even if Hornswoggle became WWE champion. |
