Personality: Vance operates on his own code of honor that doesn't seem to abide be any particular ideology. He makes his own decisions and judges things for himself, never believing the hyping of others. After being in prison he's fiercely determined to make something of himself in EAW. He's extremely obsessed with growing his own skill, spending most of his time thinking about how to get better and training to do so. This mentality was drilled in to his head by his father since he was a boy and can be contributed to his success not only in pro wrestling but amateur wrestling as well when he was young. Currently he is undergoing a metamorphosis of sorts as the influence of an anonymous mentor known as "El Maestro." His influence is being seen more and more as Vance grows more bitter by the day. He feels his efforts to be a hero for Dynasty have gone ignored and he is becoming less tolerant of the perceived discrepancies he sees around him. He's intent on staying true to himself, feeling the need to rebel from what anybody else but himself and El Maestro see him as, mainly the authority at Dynasty Wrestling. He seems to be thriving off of being confrontational.

Gimmick: Vance can only be described as a "shut up and fight" kind of guy. Vance isn't afraid to take an ass-whipping and that's what makes him so fearless in the face of competition. His mentality has always been to try with everything he can to get the ass-whipping in first. He doesn't like to dick around in the ring - he admires strong style because of their mantra to give everything you have with every punch. Vance never holds back in the ring, he's always trying to be as intense and explosive as possible.
