Guys, listen up. Microsoft may be spying on us.
For those of you who have Windows 10, your Voice Recorder setting was turned on as soon as you got it. So unless you manually turned it off, your voice recorder has been on since the moment you got Windows 10.
To turn off click Start> Settings> Privacy> Background Apps> then select which apps you want on and off.
Reddit says this,
Windows 10 has a voice-activated version of Cortana, which actually needs voice to be always on.
As far as it actually "recording," if it recorded every single second, I imagine your drive (or theirs) would fill up really quickly.
So Microsoft may not be spying on y'all.
But letting y'all know doesn't hurt.
