To answer the serious question, I would say advice I can give is you're going to have to prove yourself again to have success. You also have to be patient, which may be harder for veteran guys who know when they're going to have to take storyline loses and put people over and won't want to put in much effort. I'll use House of Glass 2013 as my example. It was clear to me and everyone that Drastik was going to win the world title to go with the storyline. I could have put minimal effort into the main event, but instead I promoed my ass, responding to RRS and Liam as soon as they promoed. I lost the match as expected but the work there helped move me closer to winning the title at Road to Redemption. |
