thanks for the welcome, i appreciate it, i really do. BUT As for the gimmick part, not everyone in pro wrestling has a gimmick.Does daniel bryan have a gimmick? {Chanting yes all the time is NOT a gimmick, if it is then he stole that "Gimmick" From diego sanchez}

I may need to edit the moveset and the entrance, but i do find it hypocritical to be given character advice from someone, who has a Kurt Angle PB, Pretty much same height and weight as Angle, is a gold medalist like Kurt Angle, Has the same finishers as Kurt Angle {Ankle lock and Olympic slam} And from the same state as Kurt also. Maybe i should make my guy Mayor of Quebec seeing as my PB is Sylvan.

No offense lol, But youve not seen an RP from me yet. Im not new to this character, so i know where i am going with this, its worked in other places... Not saying its going to work here for definite BUT im confident. Hey if it doesn't work out, i will think about the suggestion of a gimmick.

Starr meant no disrespect, so there's no need to respond with disrespect or malice, if that was the intention. And y'all should know better than to applaud it. not the attitude we want to promote on new people.

But just remember, Matt, that Starr is a hall of famer (and for a reason) has been here more or less 6 years and has a strong grasp on how things work in EAW, and only suggested a more defined gimmick because it's what helps people Stand out (but is of course not a requirement to stand out). So even if your profile doesn't require a gimmick, do approach things with an intention of standing out, it helps out in the long run. Don't see it as hypocritical or disrespectful, but see it as him trying to help you out.

Welcome to EAW though, you're more than fine to do things your own individual way. Continue your course and do your best my my friend.

Well to be fair Ryan, if I can be Captain Save A Hoe for a minuet. If you look at it by his perspective you or anyone would have possibly responded towards Starr or anyone who would have made that comment in that same degree of "malice." I mean if you look at it this way, here is a new guy just now signing up on here just to be felt like he is being "attacked" or criticized without even given the proper chance. Even though this whole thing is a major misunderstanding. So he wouldn't know if Starr has was actually being an ass or not. If he did, I doubt he would have came off very hostile and aggressive.

I think what Starr means by more unique is not to be generic heel #561409. If you're happy with what you have right now then that's fine but I can tell you from experience that having a solid gimmick to back you up makes all the difference. The more of a character you have, the more you'll stand out both in and out of script, leading to more success than if you were just "heel wrestler". Then again, what would I know? Feel free to go with what makes you happy. If it works then it works, if not then it's up to you to take control, as you probably know already. I hope you're as good as you make yourself out to be and look forward to reading your promos. Good luck and remember to have fun.

Wow, you're still RPing... o.o

I perfectly remember you from the WWH days where you not only quit a lot of times (the first of two noticeable occasions was after you won a title and the second almost looked like a blatant no-show because you didn't like your tag partner) but also once had a go at me over PM for commenting of how out of the blue Matt sudden title shot was.

But that was like four years ago and probably you changed a lot since then (hell I might even have the wrong person since the picture base I remembered him having in WWH being Mark Jindrak). So I'll be looking forward to seeing how you've improved since then.

I didn't post that to attack you, I posted it as advice as many people sign up with a similar or exact same gimmick you listed. You're right, I haven't seen you promo yet and if it works for you then by all means do it, but I can tell you it will be very hard for you to stand out in-script without having something to your character that separates you from everyone else.

I'm not going to list all the reasons why my character is the way it is. I've been here since 2008, times were obviously different. My character has also always had different spins given to it by the writers I've had. My promos have evolved from being the generic "I'm going to break your ankle" promos.

Back to my point, my character is different than any other in EAW, and that is almost essential to success here. It is unique and stands out for numerous reasons.

Also, I'm from Philadelphia, which is why PA is my character's home state.
