What the fuck is that shit

Tumblr is the apex of hatred.  It's funny, because not only can you find overtly racist/sexist/homophobic/xenophobic shit on there, but you can also find the bat shit 'reverse' stuff too, along with people who are offended by anything.  I had a friend spam a page with pictures of artichoke hearts once after someone got offended over him posting a picture of sliced fruit because they thought it was 'gory.'

And feminism on tumblr? Don't even get me started on that shit.  I consider myself a feminist in that I'm for equal rights, equal pay, pro choice, pro government paying for birth control, etc. etc., but apparently I'm a cis male ass hat if I want to spread my legs a little bit while sitting down, or for simply being a white male claiming I'm feminist, or for being a white male period.  

And what's funny is that all of these basement dwelling 'hacktivists' are against one another, to the point that their fringe is fringe.  You have the people whom identify with being a potted plant or a ham sandwich mad at the people who are sexually attracted to potted plants or ham sandwiches, the multicultural feminists hating white feminists, the trans-feminists hating all of them, etc.etc.etc.  

Go to Tumblr.  That shit will drive you mad to the point of wanting to nuke the planet and start over.

Then you aren't a feminist. That makes you an equalist, egalitarian, or a humanist. The term used in the dictionary is outdated af, and the newer, 21st century version is basically what you see on places like Tumblr. And feminists don't hate white people for believing in the things that you do for claiming to be feminist, they just hate anyone who is a decent and sensibel fucking human being.

I disagree.  'Equalist' is a bullshit, made up, 1984 internet term that means the same thing as feminist, even if there are militant and radical sections of feminism that don't make it off of chat boards and college campuses.  Humanism is too broad of a spectrum.  I am for universal equality, but that includes the notion of feminism as well, and as a child of an abused single parent, I'm personally drawn to feminism in particular.

That's another problem I have with tumblr; I'm what the fuck I say I am.  Cis isn't a word, and you can't apply it to me as an intended 'slur' and expect to have your own preferential made up name, especially when debates and in fighting over what to call yourselves is still happening.  

Tumblr just needs to burn.
