Post your favorite match. Can be from any promotion.
This was my first Japanese wrestling match I ever saw. This was just so much fun to watch and is easily one of the best matches ever in NOAH history. The neck work done by Marufuji and torso work done by KENTA (Hideo Itami for WWE Fans) was brilliant. The final half of this match was INSANE and off the charts! I'd recommend checking this one out as it's so worth the watch. Probably the match that put NOAH on the map in my opnion.

I agree with Demon with Nigel/Danielson from ROH Driven.
Bret Hart Vs. Austin from WM 13 is an all time favorite for me.

There's honestly too many for me to chose from. However, the first match that comes to memory was Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania X. It made me hooked to wrestling from that match on

Hardy Boyz vs Dudley Boyz vs Edge & Christian in honestly, any of their three way ladder/tlc encounters. The upped the ante every time and was some of the most exhilarating matches i've ever seen.
Without all the gimmickry of ladders and shit, i'd defo say Samoa Joe vs CM Punk II in ROH

Completely agree. The two first TLC matches and their triangle ladder match were just incredible.
Hard to pick out my fav of all time though. Bret vs Austin at WM was great. HHH vs Austin at No Way Out 2001 was awesome. Kurt Angle v Shane McMahon at King of the Ring was incredible.

Kind off impossible to just name one tbh
1. Chris Benoit vs Kurt Angle series
2. Mitsuharu Misawa vs Kenta Kobashi series
3. Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kota Ibushi Wrestle Kingdom 9
4. Bryan Danielson vs Austin Aries ROH Survival of The Fitrest 2004 (watched it via Bryan Danielson: American Dragon. It wasn't a one on one match, but the DVD only showed Aries vs Danielson)
5. Colt Cabana vs Adam Pearce 7 Level of Hate (NWA)

Shinsuke/Ibushi from WK9 was the best I've seen in years.
Rey/Eddie from Halloween Havok 96 was a work of art, too.

The one that sticks out in my mind was between Sabu and Terry Funk in a barbedd wire match... the ropes were barbed wire.... Sabu tore open his arm, called for duct tape, and taped his arm back together, then kept fighting. The match ended with them stuck together and wrapped in barbed wire... brutal.
I also liked Punk vs Cena, the weeks leading up to, and then the crazy atmosphere in Chicago was great to watch.
I've seen Ric flair and Steamboat live when I was a kid. That was a great 30 minute match.
Got to see D-bry fight for the World CHampionship live before it was unified. in a triple threat vs Sheamus (c) and Del rio. It was shortly after the WM where Sheamus beat D-bry in 18 seconds. That was cool.
Saw Kevin Steen vs Mark "Chicken" BRiscoe at a live roh show for the ROH Championship. Jay would win the title that weekend, which was WM weekend. Georgia got her picture taken with Jay that night. It was also the last time anyone ever saw charlie haas again. XD
And I always think about that Ladder match between Hardys, Edge and Christian vs the dudley boys, when it comes to memorable matches.
Last I guess is Shane O'Mac vs Kurt Angel... Angle threw Shane around like a rag doll for 20 minutes. And shane did his usual crazy shit.

I hate making lists because I know I'm going to leave something out...
Flair vs Steamboat, Wrestle Wars '89: Flair and Steamboat put it all out on the line in a 40+ minute match that goes the distance. It was the feud ender. Flair turned face after the match by putting over Ricky as the greatest champion the company's ever known and then getting promptly piledriven through a table by Terry Funk.
Bad Blood '04: Triple H vs HBK (Hell in a Cell): This is probably the first of many controversial picks on my list, but I love this match. It was the first major Hell in a Cell where no one went on top of the cage, but that didn't discount the brutality within the cube from hades either. This felt like Magnum vs Tully. It was brutal and bloody, and while some say it was slow paced to a fault, I disagree entirely, it only sold the brutality for me.
Nick Bockwinkel vs Curt Hennig AWA: This match perfectly encapsulates everything AWA, warts and all. This was an awesome bout that left me more of a fan of Bockwinkel after it was finished. Politics reared it's ugly head, as it did in AWA, and the match went broadway with Nick retaining, but man...what a broadway it was.
Masato Tanaka vs Mike Awesome, Heat Wave '98: You could put any of their matches on this list from any company. They were all great, brutal, and insane.
Motor City Machine Guns vs SpeedMuscle on TNA Impact: It was just a random TNA encounter during the Global Gauntlet Series that lasted maybe 8 minutes, but boy did they use that 8 minutes. Pardon the pun, but it was Total Non-stop Action. Honorable Mention also goes to another TNA random encounter between Shelley and Styles back in the Fox Sports Net days. It was the match that made me a Shelley diehard.
Colt Cabana vs Delirious vs Sweet n' Sour Larry Sweeney: Chris Candido Memorial Match: This was probably my first taste of absurdest indy wrestling. Before I knew Chikara, I knew this match. It's nothing technically marvelous, and Delirious spends a good portion of the match under the ring, but it was a nice send up to Candido and what made me fall in love with indy wrestling and comedic wrestling
Chikara Secret of the Ooz: Heidi Lovelace vs Princess Kimber Lee for the Chikara Grand Championship: Like the one before it, you could argue that it wasn't the greatest match ever, but the passion both women put on display, the story they told, and the importance of the Grand Championship being defended by a woman and against a woman made this one something I was happy to witness live. Chikara's never shyed away from intergender wrestling, and again, it's one of the reasons I love Chikara, but this match made Kimber's reign for me, even though I was really hoping Heidi would take the win. It's probably also the best defense of the Grand Championship since Quack and Kingston fought to be the first to capture the gold at High Noon.
Kota Ibushi vs El Generico vs Nick Jackson vs Jigsaw: Another fun match with a lot of action. I can count how many times I've watched this match for fun on both hands. It's one of the few outings of a solo Buck that doesn't suck, Kota and Generico easily steal the spotlight, and just the synchronized clockwork chemistry between these 4 made everything look flawless.
Wrestlemania 24: Shawn vs Flair. Again, I was there. I was happy to be there. Shawn and Flair left the house lacking in dry eyes.
Goldberg vs Hollywood Hulk Hogan Random Nitro Title Match: Laugh all you want, but it was probably one of the few times Hogan actually put someone over. The crowd ate it up, I ate it up, and again, while it wasn't scientific or ground based, it was a great story told of a cowardly heel begging off the upcoming next big thing. It was also probably Goldberg's best match, and I tack all of this on to storytelling, and I give all the credit in the world to Hulkster for doing 'business' this one time.
I'm sure there are more. Shelley vs Sabin for the X Division Title at Genesis just popped into my head. I was there for that one too, and it didn't disappoint to see the Guns go at it. Quack vs Claudio, more or less any encounter after Castagnoli cut the mullet was great. I'm going to rant all day. Moving on

Adding a new matches to my list
Manami Toyota vs Kyoko Inoue (60:00 Ironman Match) at AJW G*Top 2nd (A year before HBK and Hart did it, These two legends in Joshi Wrestling tore the house down. Probably the Kick start to the many great matches they would have together. Manami being the Goddess of Selling and Taking Bumps showed why she was the best female wrestler in world in 90s.)
and
Manami Toyota vs Kyoko Inoue at AJW: The Real Earnest (A year after their 60:00 Ironman Classic, They pull out another classic)
