Gimmick
El Irónico can be credited with being the principal representative of the lucha libre style in the lesser known, but thriving independent working man’s pub wrestling circuit of Northern England. While he greatly loves performing before roughly a dozen drunk patrons, 5 nights a week, he cannot shake the feeling that he was made for something greater. Now though, he has found his purpose. After following events in EAW for a while, he has been greatly dismayed but the almost total lack of irony. Indeed the most ironic thing he can fathom in the whole of the promotion is that Voltage is billed for Sunday Night Screenings, when all involved know that Tuesday is far more reliably the case. This is a state of affairs which wounds him most deeply in ways which are all of mental, psychological, moral, physical and metaphysical. He therefore strikes off across the pond to bring good, old-fashioned, ironic wit to a wider audience, less versed in it’s language. The jury is still out on whether this justification is in earnest, or just pure banter.

The YOUN PALACE
The Youn Palace is an English double-decker bus that has been converted into a mobile pub. Operated by Irónico's good amigo, the Pub Landlord known as Paddy, it comes complete with all the requirements of a good sesh. This includes: an wide range of alcoholic beverages, strobe lighting, oversized subwoofers and even upstairs seating. The Youn Palace has but one purpose, to follow Irónico along EAW's touring schedule while offering cheap drinks to fans and the desperately sober, and spreading the sesh wherever it goes.

An Irish expat and Irónico's first friend since joining EAW and coming to America. Paddy is a constant source of banter, emotional support and alcohol, he is currently in charge of running The Youn Palace
