So "No Man's Sky" came out a few days ago, and it has sold out in all the GameStops in my local area. The hype is real, folks. To say this is a much anticipated game is an understatement.
So for those who don't know, No Man's Sky is a space exploration/survival game. The developers, Happy Studios, claim that there are more than 18 QUINTILLION PLANETS to explore. Players can pilot their ship from planet to planet, star to star, trade with aliens in outposts, have space dog fights, and...
That's kinda it.
I played it for about two hours last night, and I got the gist of the game after planet number 2. Sure there are a literal fuck ton of planets with different atmospheres and weather and flora/fauna, but your objective on every planet is the same: mine resources, look around, maybe trade, leave.
It's...not really what I expected.
Anyway, that's all I got right now. Post questions, comments, reviews, stories, weird shit you encountered...whatever you want!
Oh, also there's apparently a planet with a giant ass snake on it...so if you find it, post the coordinates.
